nah...too 'rough' for 007...if they ever do a remake / film version of The Professionals (CI5) he'd make a good 'Bodie' as played by the late and great Lewis Collins. 007 needs someone who's a bit refined as the character isnt a thug, where, sadly, Mr Hardy seems to have been a bit typecast. He'd make an absolutely stonking Macbeth/Othello though.

He has the charisma, style and look to be the next modern bond! It's good to disagree.

He also plays the little girl in Annie, which is impossible to tell cause he's such a good actor, you think he's a 6 year old girl. He played the black Jamaican woman in the Matrix movies, he played Mr Bean in the latter movies, it wasn't Rowan Atkinson as many think, and he was the bear in that DiCaprio movie. All the man needs is a little bit of makeup and sometimes some forced prospective and he slots into any part.

If you can see his screen test with Patrick Stewart that's even more impressive. He nailed Picard, but I'm guessing either the director or producer, or maybe even Stewart, told him to back off a bit with his performance. Either for the sake of not having fans disappointed to see young Picard do such horrible things, or maybe cause "he had a different life, therefore he's a different person". Whatever the reason it's a shame audiences didn't get to see him nail his performance as John Luke Picard.

I was on the side of bond and I still think he would master it to his own like all the bond actors have done so far, but you threw a great curve ball with your comment, I think he would be epic in some kind of Bourne role but defo English based, it really pees me off when they use and English actor with a great accent for role and try to get them to be American like Jason stantham in transporter, would of sounded way better if they let him use his Cockney accent. The interviewer is like a steam roller of questions. With an incredible actor in his chair, he should do equal or less talking. The best interviewers that I know of ask amazing questions and shut up because they understand the content they want to create. But maybe he's going after different type of thing here. Much love hardy, good man for doin more interviews!

His answers were a few words or not very long, Ross had no option but to ask more questions. Hardy is a bit up his own arse to be honest. Ross struggled to get much out of him or build up a rapport.
