Thanks for learning "in the middle" with me on ukulele from our girl, dodie!! What a star she is. :D She posted the acoustic version of this yesterday and luckily I had a couple days off from work to whip this together real fast. Like a bunny. Happy learning!! :)

  • @helloabbylyons

    @helloabbylyons

    Oh yeah! There's a few ukes - soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone! The big one is the baritone and it's tuned differently. The rest are tuned the same, though sometimes the tenor will have a low G :) Good luck with your new uke!!

    i don't really play ukelele but the Bb and F chords sound out of place...I love this track having only just found it...these are how I play it..it's a bit jazzier I think...bottom string is always open. I don't know the chord names...I just play what sounds good to me...and is easy! 0232 Do you have his 0233 number, or 0033 should I be the one to call I 0031 haven't seen him 0030 much at all 0232 You say you're 0030 into closure 0232 Shake hands like 0030 You're supposed to 0333 I'll be in the middle while 0033 while you two get a- 0030 long No criticism intended...just a different option!

    @@helloabbylyons Thanks! I tend to play a faster strum too...slow, single down strum to start, but on the chorus I switch to D-D-D-UDUD...or rather, I try...I have a neurological problem that makes faster strumming a challenge...another reason why you won't see any video of me playing...that and the fact that your voice is way better than mine!

  • @helloabbylyons

    @helloabbylyons

    6 жыл бұрын

    lol awwww! well maybe the best tip is to practice the singing + ukulele separately, then when you first sing with the uke, just do one strum on each chord. then when you're ready, play the strum pattern with the singing slowly, and eventually work the tempo up faster. :) singing + playing at the same time takes some getting used to, so also remember that it takes time! ^_^ I hope that helps a little bit!
