To all the people saying that this sucks because it doesn't sound like the real song: It's a cover, not a voice over, not a tribute. A cover means that you take it and make it your own. They did that perfectly in my opinion. If you don't like it fine but get educated before trying to give feedback on someone's hard work.

I really dont get why people dislike this cover in the comments so much? It is an amazingly sang cover of a great song. LP does rock we all know it, they don´t so of course they do their own version. And for example I would love to hear this version at for example a wedding rather than the original. Chill people and just listen if you don´t like this styl than don´t listen, but don´t diss it just because you prefer a different style of music.

A cover or rework of a song has the objective of the general improvement of the original song. Traditionally this involves keeping what's already 'good' and reworking the parts that are 'bad'. People get disappointed when the 'good' parts are replaced with subpar parts, even if the 'bad' parts are now 'good'.

joshmdmd Who choose which part is the bad and which one is the good. Accly, no one. Re-working a piece, is just re-working, a re-write from another musician who can write things different, like this guys. You can change and add a lot of thing. Listen to Glenn Gould re-works from Bach pieces, there is no bad or good parts, you like it or not. Simple as that.

joshmdmd I can understand where you're coming from on that. However, I've always been of the opinion that it's about how you enjoy the song. Like for me, it wasn't better or worse, just different. Though, that in itself I enjoy too. It's nice when covers make the song their own. And that's what these two have done. So, Tina.Hororka, I suppose what people dislike this cover is because it's too different from the original in their opinion. Linkin' Park's desperation or this cover's resignation, I think they're both stories that should be told with the lyrics of this song; so I like both.

Linkin Park are one of my favourite groups and In the end is my all time favourite song, so please believe me when I say what an amazing cover. I love the way you've put your own twist on it. Hauntingly beautifull harmonies guys. I love it!

Hey :) I totally accept your opinion! BUT i also need to tell you that the meaning is totally DIFFERENT in this one. Now you will ask me: "Huh, but its the same lyrics!?" - That's true, but Vocals always make 50% of the meaning. The actual meaning is filled with anger or madness or despair, However you want to take it. This one seems to be very slow filled with sadness or sad acceptance. Which is both right, but it only depends on how you sing it. So this whole text is only to make you correct a little bit that you don't actually feel the song BETTER, you feel a new meaning which is fitting your tastes for this specific song a little bit more. :) PS: I wonder how it sounds like if Chester and Mike sing thing in style of Iridescent.

I agree with you, but just a heads up - telling people to be less negative and telling them to shut the hell up in the same sentence is kinda hypocritical. Also, telling someone to sthu is probably going to make them angry at you and less inclined to do what you want. If you can omit that phrase from your vocabulary you'll be doing yourself a service :)

Growing up on LP and loving their music, I have to say this cover in my opinion is AMAZING! Its in the name it is a COVER their take on the song! They did a wonderful job keeping the original lyrics while giving the song a much softer feel without taking away from it, adding in their own emotions and feelings into it as they sing. Over all I think they did a wonderful job in their cover.

Same here, I enjoyed this and I liked the slower different version. I personally welcome any future covers. If I were these singers I'd ignore any trolls because anyone offering any respectable criticism would leave something other than "my ears are bleeding life can't continue please quit singing." Ina nutshell great work. Do what you love and that's all that matters and you have TALENT!
