@AnthonyLennen YES! You're CORRECT! I dedicated it to my brother (who loved RUSH & introduced them to me at a very early age) when I was about 12. Later on, when we got older, my brother dedicated it back to me(I was prob 18 or 19) I played it at his funeral in honor of him in 2014 after he was killed

Soundtrack of my life, Brother!
I’m a Rush fan since 74. What I like about them is that they’re so ordinary regular guys with an extraordinary gift of music they share with us who get their message of liberty. Extreme articulate and mellow in interviews! No posing or put on. They put us Canadian rockers on the international stage in an honourable way. They don’t sing nonsense like so many do. Real socially conscious gents who make us really think. Thanks Rush!🤟🏻

Its funny, but this song always brought me into another dimension, the guitar sound, Geddys voice, the pacing, the way the song climax...the title, just like Cinderella man and Twilight Zone, there is something that only Rush can make, a a trio, as a band, as artist, this is why music touches everyone in a different way

3 of the greatest ever.
Rush had the hair the clothes and the talent going on in the beginning... they had yet conquered the world and were seriously rock n rollin all over the place. What a fantastic band that made some of the best music ever
in my 20s, at Rush concerts, I was only mesmerized by Neil and Ged. 30 years later it seems like Alex is genius and the glue that connects them. Love them all to infinity for this amazing music and lessons. (I made sure Rush was my son's first concert - created another fan.)

@@johnegli1308 They were both masters of tone, rhythm and creating massive sound with a single instrument. Eddie’s virtuosity is/was extreme and immediate. I started 'concerting' about 73-4 (Black Oak Arkansas/ JoJo Gunne first concert). Tix were about $5 (Indy). I remember Zeppelin coming and tix were an outrageous $7! I got to see RUSH backup KISS one year, and KISS backup RUSH the next time. I've tried to research this, but I've not been able to find it, but I swear that was the case!
The three of the are incredible. A sound that will never get replaced.

Mid '70s Fly By Night era Rush. More than 40 years of incredible music. I got into them in the late '70s. Where did the time go? RIP Pratt.

Your welcome planet earth, we Canadians are so proud of their accomplishments, stars aligned when Neil, auditioned and Ged Alex chose him ,but I heard Alex was in a mood and let ged do the rest, could be wrong on that, 3 humble people that worked at the craft of music, man i miss Neil 😢
That is one class act.
I just finished watching Van Halen live and I had to just jump here.
I will be 59 this June and was aware of Rush in 8th grade when a classmate drew 2112 in art class. In 1979, I heard the Xanadu off the Farewell to Kings album and it brought beauty to my senses. In 1981, after hearing the midnight radio release of the entire Moving Pictures album, I bought the album that week. Rush music became part of my musical soul.
