Although there is no dialogue, the anthropomorphic creature's body language conveyed its emotions and thoughts. The whole time, it was thinking, "I just want to get out of this depressing and scary box and be free out there beyond that hole in the ceiling!" Once it finally achieves its goal, it finds an even more depressing situation of being stuck in a box, but now with no goal to accomplish, no where else to go.

You know this really explained my fear in general. That i am in a box and once i succeed happiness or my goal i would feel empty. Just like he finally went through that hole and then found nothing else to it, thats my fear

​@@lesliegarcia7019 I can understand where this fear comes from. That fear of doing so much only to find nothing on the other side, to me is also what the video seems to be about. But in reality, once you achieve your goal, you can always find a new goal. We are never ever, limited to just one goal in life. And by achieving one, you always gain something from it. Whether it's a new computer or a new sense of self. And something I've learned, happiness isn't something to succeed. Never chase happiness, just do what makes you happy.

Хороший мультипликационный фильм, учит нас не сдаваться ни при каких обстоятельствах, ни в большом, ни в малом, ведь большое начинается с малого. Самый главный элемент - это маленькая деталь, а ведь казалось это мелочь, но из этой маленькой мелочи - двигается весь механизм двигателя.

The second box is lightened. This made me think about the process of lightning the shadows. Making the inconscious conscious. To realize that we are inside the box is, perhaps, the first step to freedom ourselfs from ourselfs. Also, there is something interesting: in the first box, the person in it trys to discover the logic behind the moving walls, trys to figure out a sequence of right moves, seeking desesperatly a strategy to escape by the hole. But, unexpectedly , the way out came to him! The way out did not depended of his efforts. Instaed, the way out came like a "boom", ilogical, from nowhere, without explication. What´s happened? This makes me think that thinking and controling maybe is not the best way to connect with ourselfs. There is something else!! Peace!

the soundscape is awesome. The editing is awesome. This is so wonderful. I am very impressed. The animation was so funny when he slips off the wall and goes tumbling about. You imbued him with a lot of heart. I believe he is real.

The ending resonates quite profoundly: Life has meaning when there is hope or something to look forwards to. Similar to our lives, we are only able to push forward and toil in our mundane lives because hope exists and is present everywhere. Hope of a better, prosperous future. Without it, the bleakness of our lives would become unbearably oppressive and humanity would cease to exist. As long as the hole above exists for humanity, we will continue to evolve and develop, seek technological and medical advancements, etc.

Robert: Nope, the bleakness of our lives actually "ARE" unbearably oppressive, and gets more and more oppressive as time goes on (Govt infliction on society). And "humanity" has already ceased to exist - and gone right out the window, long ago. Sadly "this" is the reality right now. And we all have to manage our lives around it, and in the midst of it, as best we can. It's a rat-race, dog-eat-dog and survival of the fittest. No place for rose-tinted glasses.

Благодаря нахождению в свете, осознанности, герой мультфильма не был раздавлен, он просто перешел на некий новый уровень. Можно вывести мораль: если не можете удерживаться в свете, аккуратно расширяйте свое сознание, от вашего "местоположения " в "коробке" зависит, придавит вас потолок или вы вы благополучно выйдете на новый уровень.

This reminds me of one of those bad, surreal dreams where I don't seem to have an actual body but I'm able to see and hear everything, like my head is stuck inside a dark box. I'm trying to breathe deeply because I feel kind of suffocated and I'm trying to reach around to make sense of my surroundings but it's impossible because I don't have arms or legs.

Meh. Not really. Unless the box is of his own making or his staying of his own volition. He wanted out of what was a bleak, unpleasant place. The light held some promise of escape. He finally figured out how to escape, only to find himself trapped in another box, only with more light this time. He is understandably frustrated, as I suspect he hoped for better. Life typically offers us more choices and more ways to escape the boxes we may find ourselves in and more diversions within any given box. This story is a variation of countless stories written by junior high school kids - he escapes the box! Only to find himself in another box! Yeah, I wrote those same stories in Junior High.

I feel like this could be a representation of life and how people have the same routine every day and a job they don't like, etc. like the box represents the confinements of life. The way it fell naturally to me suggests death..after a lifetime of trying to get to escape somehow, naturally your life ends but there is this box which is a higher place, like heaven or something along those lines, but it ends up being just the same, but more dream like..notice how it seems there isn't a hole in the second box, because after the 'afterlife' you can't really die..

Milly Pye the hole isn’t that deep because the ceiling fell on him. So the hole is very close to the ground in the level beneath him.

Yes. There are credits at the end of the video and a link to its IMDB page in the description. The lead guy was Michal Struss. I don't have IMDBpro, so if his contact info is on the website, I can't access it. I don't know that he speaks english, so you may not be able to communicate without a translator.

Will find a way to the light as a highest wisdom(they maybe unhappy here,it's dark) . For me it's a sign what my ount will be taken to heaven tomorrow ,not otherthrown(she was 85 quite a few,but the next round be lighter and where to sit down to rest,her legs hard all her life)!:) Let them be much more successfull and healthy stage higher!Let"s not let them drown in our tears!:)Just do not rush anyone!❤️🍀:)

Лично мне сперва показалось что кукла хочет выбраться на волю. А вот когда потолок упал смысл для меня открылся в том что кукла хочет забраться выше. Она прикладывает все свои усилия все возможные варианты и когда казалось бы всё , выхода то нет ну не прыгнуть выше головы происходит чудо! Она попадает на верх, но счастья то и нет и что делать дальше не понятно. Может как то и по детски описание моих мыслей вышло, ну и ладно))
