This was my favorite movie this and son in law the 90s were the best
My 1st Sgt, at the time, was in this movie. We called him Hollywood Stokes because he was in this movie as a Drill Sgt and in Tuskegee Airmen as a driver. This was back in 97-00 in Germany where we were part of a fast deployment unit rotating in and out of the Balkans. Monster of a man but good dude. A True American Hero. RIP CSM Allen Randall Stokes 🙏
whoa, I forgot about this film! saw this during my childhood
I had my basic at Ft. Sill last year, and you still today recognize some locations even 30 years later.
Lynn Whitfield portrayed one of the most convincing drill sergeants in the movies.
I was in basic while they filmed this and he was in my platoon

Great movie, but why did they have to cast the same chick they did in Point Break for the female love interest? Not hot, not funny, and the little baby talk routine she does is annoying AF. How she got cast in these 2 major roles I'm sure I don't know. There are literally thousands of actresses they could have given a shot to, why oh why this one, twice?!
