My sister and I saw Andy Gibb on September 27, 1985 at John Ascuaga's Nugget in Sparks, Nv. After he performed, he and his mother came out on the casino floor to gamble, and we were waiting outside the showroom, hoping to get an autograph. He was so gracious and sweet!! He signed our programs and introduced us to his mother. What a gentleman, and his mother was very sweet also❤ I was so heartbroken when he passed away. And now that we've lost Maurice and Robin its all very sad. Oh to be able to go back in time❤❤

Barry has said he believed Andy was his twin..the uncanny resemblance...the falsetto voice...their music philosophy...all four brothers loved each other very much...supported each other's successes...just before Andy's untimely death, Barry was about to announce Andy's becoming the fourth Bee Gee...sadly, Andy died before his becoming an official Bee Gee was ever announced...that was the beginning of a true "Heartbraker" for the boys and fans. Then Maurice...then Robin. I'm amazed Barry has dealt with so much pain and loss...yet, he's come back to us with a beautiful tribute to his brothers in an album of Bee Gee songs with the assistance of many well known artists. Welcome back Barry...the World mourned with you then...now the World with open arms says welcome back!

"Silver Forever" interesting that the parents of the Bee Gees (or at least their mom, I think) saw more than one of their sons die before they themselves died. Maurice and Robin were twins but they actually did not look alike. Howard Stern said that of the 3 performing Bee Gees one has the reputation of being the "handsome" one while the others have a reputation of being, let's say, not as handsome. I have heard that Robin used drugs causing him to appear rather "haggard."

Maurice Gibb is closest to my heart. He was the glue that held the band together. Among the three, he played the most number of instruments. He never cared so much about personal spotlight. Always willing to step aside for his brothers. He was always smiling and was just having fun on stage. Was always polite. He was such a darling, a sweetheart. A humble but funny guy. Andy couldn't handle his fame. It overwhelmed him. It drowned him. Just so sad... Rest in peace Mo, Andy and Robin. Stay strong Barry.

I totally agree on Mo, what a wonderful person he was! Proof is when he passed, they were fighting. They were done. So sad. He should still be with us. The hospital killed him.

Andy was an exceptional talent which has left us much too early. heaven has become richer by an angel !

I do rember that sad sad day when Andy passed away. I cried for 3months was a sad time in my young life I was 20 years old and me and my first love broke up 💔 plus loosing Andy Gibb didn't help at all. I will never ever forget you Andy

Such a beautiful soul. What an incredible guy. I saw all of the Brothers Gibb in 1979 Spirits Having Flown Tour in our hometown of Miami FL. I also happened to be a UK immigrant. I used to scope out Criteria Studios to get a wave, and say hello. Always the kindest gents blowing kisses , thumbs up, tap on the nose by Mo etc. Beautiful tribute. 👑🇬🇧🇭🇲🇺🇸🌐💫🐝🎗🌺

This brings back memories back when my husband was driving Andy and his brothers About. Morris was he’s favourite. He gave my husband one of he’s silver disc. It is on our study wall. We was at party’s with them. So sad there is only one left. Xx

Maurice passed from a twisted colon and Robin from cancer. Have read that we may loose Barry soon, heard from his son Steven that his father is on hospice care.

My second time here, I want to say I teared up during "Wish you were here", I know how all the family felt and still feel because I've lost close family members, the most recent was my Senior Sister, November11, 2021 from a Heart Attack also. It's a pain that never goes away, it only slowly diminishes, ever so slowly. I ask the Good Lord to hold her and keep her safe, the same for the Gibbs.
