Fricking awesome, rocking the assisted living center! Best part is when he yells, "Heeeeey! " I want this sang at my wake, the tuba makes it. That is saying a lot for a guy from Michigan who sees OSU colors on these guys. Rock on Buckeye boys!

My question is ; How can all those people just sit thru this song. I just cleaned my kitchen floor while dancing around and I'm 66 years old. Thiis music makes you want to get up and DANCE.. Amazing how much fun you can have while doing the hoouse work. Just be careful around the stove and with those dishes. :)

+richard l valimont jr In any event, it is a very nice gesture to perform at a retirement home. Our folk dance group does that often - knowing how easily we could end up in such a place. I'm 76.

@richard, I agree, it's one of my favorite polka songs, but whoever did the sound mix on this, just don't. The tuba should provide counterpoint and has the most output, which is why it's typically the farthest back from the microphone. You don't hear 1 strum from the banjo. The only things we hear clearly are the snare, the tuba, and the harpsicord. Vocals are low-tone only, and so muddy the instruments wipe it out. Most viewers who never heard this song couldn't even try to sing along. Again, I blame the sound guy/grip/roadie. There are slider bars on the "mixer". Jake, I appreciate you and the Chardon for what you do, I just hope you make the good music better. Please.

Close-up of the stone-faced guy at 2:22 is priceless. That man is thinking about why he's listening to a song about beer (and probably several others considering this is CPB) and pissed because he doesn't have one. This is cruel. At their ages they should be able to smoke/drink what they like instead of being treated like children. I'd rather die on the street than be regulated like that.

My favorite polka of all time, and I love live music (wedding receptions, birthdays , graduation parties), but between the terrible accordion and this guy's singing I just couldn't listen to any more. I used to have to drive through Cardon a lot when I was in college at the Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland.
