Hi Janey ,just look after yourself. You need all the cuddles and understanding right now .You don't need to ridicule yourself. There will be time for that when you feel better and stronger .We all bloody say things and do things sometimes without truly thinking .Just look after you and your family 👪 ❤

Janey, we have all done things in the past that we don't like - but never tell about. You are a wonderful person and we all love you. Xx

My very best wishes for you. We all make mistakes. We all evolve. We all do things we are ashamed of. Please keep fighting. We need you to keep us sane

Janey is one hell of a strong and funny lady. We all screw up sometimes, it's what we do when we realise we have screwed up. And we move on. If we don't move on, life will move on without us and leave us behind. Thank you for making me smile Janey, especially during lockdowns. Thank you for your integrity, for learning, for changing and growing. Keep smiling.

I was given and have read "nothing left unsaid" I loved it. Set in the 70s and the present day. I could totally relate to Senga and her daughter. The best one liner was when someone karaoke singing ability was likened to " the sound of throwing a seagull up a lum!" Priceless

@@thefastandthedead1769 I think i would remember calling Tesco workers 'spazzies'. It's not something i tend to do, either 11 years ago or now. And to label it comedy is pathetic but then i've never found anything Godley has ever done as funny so i wouldn't know.

@@niconicholas1464 She did not defend this at all in the interview. She freely admitted that this was unacceptable. Then she cancelled work, gave back money and marched for the BLM campaign. I could be wrong but that does show repentance. She also makes a very good case that our PM published totally racist work whilst an editor. If you don't believe me look up "the scotch what a verminous race". Truly disgusting, IMHO. He then went on to become PM... Two wrongs don't make a right. However, there are different standards being applied to JG and BJ.

@@thefastandthedead1769 because one is a politician and the other is a comedian. Johnson can be voted out of office. Shes still making false assumptions to justify her own tweets. She was an enthusiastic participant in cancel culture. That being said no one should be canceled for jokes. Not even her. Though to say “I’m sorry but..” just means “I’m not sorry”. Don’t have any Ill will towards her as a person - hopes she recovers fully, but her cancer diagnosis hasn’t made her any less unfunny.
