Knowing that they charge that much for a wire has turned me off from ever purchasing these. Knowing how much the wire is marked up makes me think that the IEM has to be an even worse value

I'm the one who sent these to Z. I'm happy with my purchase regardless of the wire. they're definitely worth it. The wire is disappointing, but the sound of the singularity is incredible. I would suggest at least trying them and maybe buying second hand.

I really liked them at CanJam NYC, but to me the Nightjar Duality was better

The only time I have ACTUALLY heard a difference was on the 8 ohm Letshuoer Cadenza 12, the $2200 IEM where My $50 collab cable sounded like azz. Go watch that video as my world view breaks

@@in-earfetish Thanks for bringing that up! a good quality cable with very low resistance can bring audible improvements. Mostly people perceive it to be a little bit louder but at identical volume settings with a lower end cable, you could make out slight improvement in dynamics. Thanks again Z! ...btw, we don't know each other personally, but global village rule applies and a friend of mine knows you personally 😉

​@@ifteykharulislam the singularity is one of the better recs if you can squeeze the extra 300 or find it second hand, it has a really powerful, good quality dd bass, and also shine in the soundstage department with impressive technical quality relative to it's bass, the fatfreq scarlet mini is one of the best under 1k if you want the most natural but BIG bass without sacrificing quality, it's a very musical and "vibey" set, has crazy sub bass and good slam, For budget options the ziigat doscincos are worth considering, at $270 they are one of the better bass to technicalities balances in that price bracket, less bass head than scarlet or singularity but still have good midbass for their price and the symphonium titan, at 1k they are a great bass set, tho less in quantity than scarlet and singularity but well balanced.

I agree with the lack of no-cable option complaint but then you had to shill your own cable, not cool. You both selling expensive wires (which is okay--I got a few too) and to be fair one is not better than the other, there are a few things I dislike about your cable too.
