Where is the footage of these Ukrainian soldiers surrendering and being shot? That wasn't the footage shown along with the story. How do we know if this is true? Also why is Blinken giving billions more to people who have no chance fighting Russia and never did? Isn't that leading them to commit suicide to lead them to believe that there is any good that will come of provoking Russia? He was hanging out in the bar on a stage playing guitar while he was there. He doesn't take this situation very seriously.

War is a horrendous situation. It happens in all major conflicts, and all parties are guilty. Governments don't like to talk about it. Australia recently sentenced a whistleblower who revealed this happened in Afghanistan to a jail term. BTW, Ukranians have been reported as doing the same thing. National security is used as an excuse to cover unethical/illegal actions.

Aside from that, we do know that many thousands of Ukrainian troops have surrendered and then been treated well by the Russians. So why would there be departures now from this standard Russian practice, which has military benefits to the Russians because it encourages more Ukrainians to surrender?

Yes, we, the global public' would have to see the footage of these accused incidents in order to make any judgement ourselves. Unfortunately there already IS video of incidents from both side of such occurrences but also as many of prisoners being treated fairly by both sides. Tragically war brings out the best and WORSE in human beings no matter what flag they're carrying and war's cruelty and brutality changes many people into ruthless animals for survival and revenge. I fear the earlier documented accounts of Ukrainians executing Russian Soldiers and Russian speaking Ukrainians certainly would not have helped. p.s, it's hardly accurate to call this a "full invasion" either despite it's size.

@@user-pj5ub5cp9k The dam the Russians were occupying and to isolate their troops on the west side of the river? The reservoir the dam held also provided water to Crimea (canal south of the dam) and cooling water to the nuclear power plant at Enerhodar which is and was occupied by Russian troops.
