To be honest as much as I would like that too part of me doesnt want to know too much about her.... the mystery adds to her aesthetic
I feel like this is a preview for the aesthetic we are getting for Chemtrails. A 90’s rich country club housewife who loves diamonds and lives for her cats and her husband but is also slowly descending into madness from the boredom of life and confesses her depressed thoughts on her typewriter with all of her free time. Am I the only one getting this vibe?

I've always wondered why I'm so attracted to this woman. I have been a fan since 2011 and I think is because, she has this magnetism. She is just so hypnotic, even if she wasn't famous and I would bump into her in a bar or something, I don't think I could ignore her. She has this sadness, nostalgia and calmness, as she was a distant and comforting memory or a summer day. But at the same time she is strong like a hurricane. She carries her heart on her sleeve and I think that's so beautiful.
This is hilarious! It’s like Charlie and Lana are just messing around and messing with people in a faux interview. The laugh after Lana answers “do you ever get nervous” is *so good.*

confused floral odd normal playful curious it’s like an evolution. she attacks her confusion with enthusiasm, hence curiosity. she has embraced her tendency not to fit in and equated it to mundane life and shared struggles. and as for floral… being flowery and bubbly was a facade for other people but now she enjoys life without careful fabrication of her image… she’s free to be playful

@@mgdkns6678 I did not mean it as a "good" thing, I meant her nuances, sensitivity, poetry, fears and imagery are very close to what I think Marilyn's were, so it's not surprising she references her as her "mother" in some of her songs. But I don't think the ending of somebody's life, no matter how tragic, can sum up their whole existence. Also, Lana is much more of a story-teller, so the "Marilyn" side is just one of her many facets.
This is so aesthetic, cute, and poetic, I’m in love with this video 🥺
I love how she crafts the character of Lana! This is very "Born To Die" but with the feel of a woman who's gone thru "Ultraviolence" "Honeymoon" "Lust For Life" "Norman Rockwell" it's like a full circle of a character arch.
