In and Out of The Hoosac Tunnel

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

it is late June on the Pan Am Railways, where we position ourselves along with Stephen Demboske at the East Portal of the Hoosac Tunnel. to witness 16R exit the tunnel, and 11R enter. after that we skip to September where we watch 11R depart East Deerfield, then ED-4 do a little switching at the West end of East Deerfield Yard. To finish off the video we end with Amtrak 56, The Vermonter heading North into Greenfield MA.

I like when the train go fast then slow like they are going to the Taco Bell drive window then get tacos to eat for a meal.

I’ve been wanting to get out to East Deerfield and other spots along the Pan Am D3 and hopefully this fall I will. What’s the best time for action along there?

East Deerfield is usually always has action with Yard switchers and serves as a crew changing point. but for anywhere else along D3 is a complete mystery.
