Can't wait. In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is one of my favorite songs of all time, and one I use most for testing speakers. (Ravel's Bolero is the other.) Sina's 2017 cover is epic. The 2023 cover with be better?

Is Sina ever truly satisfied with her performance? We are, but how does she feel about it years later?

In The Garden Of Eden, oh sorry In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is still a great psychedelic song. The drum solo, however, is quite simple and, I think, easy to copy. That's not to diminish Sina's performance in the slightest. On the contrary, she does it superbly and without the slightest mistake, with a lot of power and at the same time a feeling and sense of timing. At the age of 69, the song naturally reminds me of my youth and always brings fond memories to the surface. It was a great time with the first kiss, first love and so on 😉 Thx Sina! ✌️

Oh my wow! Such a powerful cover for so many reasons. I love the interaction between father and daughter. It is easy to see how much you support her, and how much she appreciates your support. Such work of love is a wonder to behold. Sina, for me this is one of your most powerful works of art. It has always been one of those songs that I liked. Now though, with your cover, I love it. Once more while taking in your talents I learned. You keep showing me aspects of drums that I didn’t know or understand very well. The flow of your playing is captivating. A person can't help but to be carried along with your playing. I am very excited for the release on the 24th!!!

This is great, Mike! Sina has a talent that her drum solos still sound like music all by themselves. Some other drum solos usually just sound like noise, but not Sina's! I eagerly await next Friday's release, and the bonus ukulele masterpiece at the end of this video was beautiful! 😄 Go Milena!

Interessant auch mal einen Blick in die Entstehung von Sinas excellenten Covers im kleinen Zauberkeller zu sehen. Ich liebe dieses Stück und vor allem das Solo hat mich immer wieder fasziniert. Umso begeisterter war ich natürlich es endlich auch von Sina zu hören. "Na, da hat sie sich aber was vorgenommen ..." dachte ich spontan und war dann hin und weg als es los ging. Beim Solo habe ich wohl die ganze Zeit mit offenem Mund und weit aufgerissenen Augen vor dem Bildschirm gesessen und den Regler auf 10 gestellt. Wie - um alles in der Welt - kann man sich dieses Ding merken und abrufen? Seit damals habe ich es mir unzählige male immer wieder fasziniert angehört. Ich hoffe ich durfte das mal aus Fan-Ansicht so schildern. Nach einigen eigenen Versuchen habe ich auch einen Eindruck davon bekommen, was Daddys Anteil an der Entstehung bedeutet und möchte das an dieser Stelle auch mal würdigen! Danke Euch beiden für die Freude und Inspiration!

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida erinnert mich an meine Jugend, hab das Solo heute noch im Kopf. Ebenso legedär dürfte aber auch das Solo von Mick Tucker in "The Man With The Golden Arm" sein. Wäre schön, das auch mal zu Hören/ Sehen. Danke für Deine Arbeit.

I love the BTS clips. This one takes me back to either late 1968 or early 1969 when Iron Butterfly played a concert at my university. When they did this song, the drum solo lasted over 20 minutes as I recall. It was awesome! I'm looking forward to next week!!

Es ist wirklich ein super Solo, dem man auch noch folgen kann und mit laut und leise, macht's spannend.

Nice playing! You get the impression that Sina just gets up on the drums and starts playing and that's it! Of course the reality is it's never that simple but Sina makes it look so easy!

You have to be one proud Pappa! A beautiful Family with so much talent. Seeing a video with You and The Ladies, including Momma all playing a song together would bring down the house! Nice to see Milena at the end. I miss seeing her and have often wondered what She is up to these day's. Anyway, always look forward to the videos. Love the behind the scenes and the talking between you and Sina.

Who needs music when it's so cool to hear Sina's drums only. it sounded so clean with the snare wires off in takes 2 & 3 and flowed lovely. No wonder Sina was happy at the end. And Yes it was nice Milena, so keep them coming Mike. 3 X the Solo for Once, Twice, Three times a Lady. 😁

This is why Sina is so great at what she does. She wont stop until she's happy with the product. Best in the business.

I am very impressed with your determination to get the song right. The third take was definitely the best. Your use of dynamics, crescendo, decrescendo, really stood out in that last take, it made all the difference and, of course, your meter and tempo were spot on. They will play that in The Garden Of Eden!

I practiced this with just my hands when I was a teenager and also went to their concert in around 1970. You were just brilliant, Sina! Been watching for a decade now! Your professionalism and dedication to performance is phenomenal. Gut nacht.

3 times the Sina, the reach and the takes. That first part was the ultimate solo. Sina: mamammum. Even when she messes up, she rocks and gets it right.

I liked this collaboration a lot better than the original. I felt that this collaboration, was a lot better quality than the 1 by Iron Butterfly. For Sina, this was a lot of nonstop drumming.

The snares are an integral part of the overall drum sound and texture. We drummers leave them on usually. But in some cases like using the snare itself as a Tom, you would then, want them off. Thanks hope this helps. Keep rocking Sena!!!!
