Thank you for the video. I think, you should write a book, based on your videos and explanations.

Thank you for the video. Sir can you make a video about STATCOM and how it's work?

Hi Professor, should the B-sources generating ton and DI nets use V(outav) i.s.o. V(out)? I refer to the LTspice schematic at 5:05.

You are absolutely right. I have spotted this error and corrected but neglected to update the schematics. All the plots are with corrected expression. Thanks for the comment that might help others.

Doesn't the visible phaseshift in result imply limited useability of the model for evaluating feedback loop stability? On first sight it looks like it will be predicting more optimistic phase margin of the loop.

I think that this deviation is due to sampling delay in the switched circuit. This is not shown of course in average models including state space averaging and is not included in text book transfer functions of PWM converters. So this is not unique to the model shown. There are ways to add the sampling effect in continous models. Thanks for the conversation.

Hi sir thanks for the excellent video .I have questions does this average model loop response matches with actual measurement result?
@sambenyaakov

We have done in the past experimental verification of the average modeling approach. But not this particular one. Time domain simulation is very close to experimental.

@@sambenyaakov Many Thanks Sir ...the problem I face with average model is it doesn't not matches with actual measurements,I mean there is a quite large variation..could you please make some video on this topic like how average model can match actual measurements results with minimal variation 🙏

@@biswajit681 Average models like state space averaging do not take into account (analog) sampling delays and distortion and certainly not losses or parasitics. Have you ever tried to compare text book transfer functions to actual measurements😊 Indeed, a good subject to a video. Will try.

@@sambenyaakov Hi sir recently I tried with Vorperian switch model and there is excellent match at mid load to peak load with bench test measurements but at light load variation is quite high...I am talking about peak current mode control Buck Converter

Hi professor, thank you for this video. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't in slide #9 (the schematics) the sources B6 and B8 reference V(OUTAV) instead of V(OUT) ? It's true that V(OUT) is low ripple, but still you are creating some cross couple between the switch model and the average model. PS: It would have been interesting to compare the average model results with and without the inclusion of the slope adjustment (i.e. as shown and with V(slpt)=0)
