WOW! Thank you! I keep seeing those cheap silicone lanyards from Chinese wholesale sites. While I was curious, I really didn't want to fund that kind of shopping, nor do I want to wait a month for a cheap, smelly version of something I can readily make myself. Thank you for this!!!

I followed your tutorial, (well done, by the way!) I used 3/32" paracord and Cobra/Square sliding knots as replacements for the plastic cord locks. On the backside, where the left cord crossed in front of the cameras, I used a locking clove hitch, to tie and pull it together with the right side, (centering them on the phone). It's so amazing that a Master such as yourself puts so much effort to share your expertise with "your students" . . . What you do with knots is not only beautiful works of art, they're magical. Thank you

The weavers of eternity: you know, if you were to put that phone in that harness upside down relative to the way that you have it right now, you’d have access to your charging port, assuming it’s at the bottom center, and your lens for your camera wouldn’t be blocked. My phone has a sort of similar set up, and I was thinking about redesigning the harness to fit my phone because of those limitations, but then I realized you already had the problem solved for me if I just flip the phone in there upside down.

Outstanding. Very nice, worked great, exactly what I needed to secure my phone in my kayak. The LIFEPROOF case keeps it dry, but it won't float. LOL This gives me much comfort that I won't lose my phone. Totally awesome!

Nice! Just what I needed. Thanks. I just noticed that if you pass the right strand through the left side of the hitch and vice versa (

This is soooo cool.. i used the previous design and now this one with my cell phone(s) and ham radios. I then have something to hang from in a car, for example (like from a simple s-hook from a car vent)

Thanks a lot. I tried on a iPhone 6. Looks cool. Though on iPhone the charging point , comes just under cow's hitch. But it is flexible enough that you can make enough space to be able to charge the iPhone or connect iPhone to a computer.

I make a lot of lanyards for work and try to avoid using any plastic hardware as it makes a sharp noise if if taps anything kydex or plastic. For tensioning sliders, I use the celtic button knot and run the cordage through the middle. You can tension them tight enough to hold better than plastic hardware but have to be careful to to tension the knot too much or its a pain to slide.
