Improve your Vocabulary: Stop saying SORRY!
“Sorry” is a useful word, but it’s not the right word for every situation. It loses its power when used too much and in the wrong situations. In this video, I’ll give you more precise and powerful words to use in situations you’ll face in life. We’ll cover words and expressions including “whoops”, “my bad”, “sorry about that”, “pardon me”, and “excuse me”, as well as ones you can use in more serious situations such as “I want to apologize”, “please forgive me”, and more. www.engvid.com/improve-your-v...

Could you please make a video about the ACT English (best strategies)? I’m 24, and I would love to go to College soon, and in order to do this I need to do that. I want to have a 36, a perfect score, but I need a lot of help. 😂

I'm a canadian and I'm always saying sorry, so this definitely helps expand that word into different meanings.

You are saying "Minha culpa" (my fault in portuguese) in the beggining of video was fantastic. thank you James for inspiring me.
Dear Teacher James, you are simply amazing, how brillant classes!! Wow!! I really love all of them! I am a Brazilian, but I live in Costa Rica, centroamerica, I've been working as a portuguese teacher for spanish speakers for 10 years but I confess I have never seen in my whole life nobody as awesome like you. Best teacher ever! Thank you so much. I watch your videos everyday and it have been helping me a lot ! I wish I could teach like you, just my dream...you are terrific!! Congratulations!! Love your channel !! Coolll!!
Thank you for this lesson, as a Spanish speaker it gets hard to not say "sorry" in almost every moment hahaha because I think that just saying oops or something different it's not enough, thanks again ❤️
Saying sorry is also appropriate when expressing sympathy as when someone tells you their loved one died or when they tell you bad news. "I'm so sorry for your loss." In this case it expresses your sadness at what happened.

Yeah say "I'm sorry for your loss" though not just "I'm sorry". "My condolences" is better.

James - лучший! с юмором и на жизненных примерах. Спасибо большое за труд!
Thanks for this video. I'm working in a funeral home and as Spanish speaker, I'm afraid not to express myself correctly when English speakers arrive there and I've to express my condolences to the family or relatives. No doubts thanks to you ☺️
This was an insightful and awesome video about using sorry in daily life. Thanks James, you're great!
Even as an ESL guy that learned English in the 90s. Unlike the Canadians I avoided so much SORRY in California way before watching this. Great video James!
Totally agreed with you James. In Canada, we turn to say sorry for everything.

I'd also recommend watch how you say it because it can be offensive too like a parent saying sorry in a mean way...
I LOVED YOUR CLASSAAAAAA
I’m Canadian and I’ll never stop saying I’m sorry! 💪 😆
the fart caught me off guard 🤣
They don't teach that in school's here in Germany. Gald I always had native English speaking friends to help me with the small stuff like this. Even though most of the time I knew it already 😅 Love ya vids, keep up the great work man ✌️
Excellent !, I like the sense of humor …
I really enjoyed the class 🤩
In this situation should say: My condolences
Thanks you for this video. I'm a fresh speaker, I want to master the english langue and with you I learn a lot... Now excuse me I have to go to another video😪
It is customary to say sorry in table tennis if your shot hit the edge, corner of the table and you won the point. But, if the point was really important or decisive, you say, I deeply apologize with a grinning face
*Gets two hours late for the work or meeting* Me to my boss: thanks for your patience (instead of I apologize)
It amazing tnkx
Thaaaanks
"In this particular time in history, we're going through an interesting period where everybody gets offended by everything". (I couldn't have heard a better description of modern human behaviours).😊
Thank you, I enjoyed your video you made me chuckle a few times and cringe at your sound effects and mention of passing gas, call me old fashioned but I’m not a fan of bathroom humor, at least not in mixed company, lol. You do make some very good points.
what camera brand and model are you using for record your video? and what resolution do you use?
