Improve your 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 on this Itiwit in 𝟲𝟬 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀!

All itiwit kayaks come with 3 small fins / skegs. Without much training on the waters in synchronized paddling, you can still enhance the tracking by doing this thing. Watch to find out! #creativeadventures

Thank you, but it would have been much better if you told people where they could get the fins from in your video. Would have saved time in people asking in comments

That's a neat hack for the skegs. I like this kayak but wish it had foot pegs or some means of providing a place to put your feet to provide for a better push off when paddling more aggressively.

I saw a person use a pvc-tube on a strap, which he put on the attachment for the front seat. He put his feet on the tube. But i guess this only works if you use the 2-seat-itiwit in "single-mode". For the 3-seat-itiwit it could probably work if you use it with 2 people and put the pvc-tube-strap right in the front for the front person and the back person can use the frontseat for their feet? I personally put my backpack in the front to put my feet on, but this only works if you dont care about the dirty backpack :) And you need a big backpack if you have short legs like me.

Yes I have tried putting the middle seat in an putting my feet on that. It works ok but it isn't great if I want to rally push off like I would on pegs in a hard kayak. But thanks for the feedback. I will let everyone know if I come up with a "hack" that works better. Happy paddling.

I tried. The kayak still moves its head when paddling but I cannot compare it with 3 big fins.

Hi. This Kayak is from Decathlon. But The Orange fins are from the SUP board department. The skeg housing is standard size and it fits the orange SUP board fins. But i think it will suffice to put the rear 2 and leave the front either with no fins or use the original fin that comes together because the tracking will still be straight.

That looks like an X100 SUP skeg. It is funny to say but the X100 SUP also need larger, longer skeg. I dont understand why they made so small and short skegs for their kayaks and SUP-s.

@@LILEE376 The drawback of the longer fin is launching it and landing it in shallow water or getting close to land in shallow water whilst paddling , there is also more risk of damaging the fin with the longer type or even putting extra strain on the bottom of the boat slide connector which might tear if you are going fast with lots of weight and you hit an immovable object in the shallows . However , if you are launching from deep water , and always paddling in deeper water, the risk is minimised , and the extra control should be gained without risk of damage .

You can find them in the SUP BOARD section of Decathalon. I found these in Singapore's Decathalon shops. You can definitely find them online. Just put the two rear fins will do. Cheers.
