🔺My efile course is simple short and to the point. It was created with natural nail stylists is mind (like myself) who are intimidated and not committed to overprossing the cuticle area.

🔺Today's Topic:
I’ll be the first to say I don’t like giving or receiving a rushed beauty service. But, as a service provider, speed can be camouflaged when you work efficiently.
And what does that exactly mean? Think about it like this, you go in to get your hair done, your stylist asks you a few questions about what you want done today, she goes on to wash your hair, conversates just enough with you while doing your hair and before you know it your hair is blown and styled and you’re paying for your service.
Your hair looks great, and you’re done within an hour. That’s efficiency, it was over before you knew it, and your appointment was pleasant and your end result was what you wanted. This was by the way, my experience at my last hair appointment, which is why I considered this analogy I guess (ha!) and it just strengthened my view on efficiency as a profitable service provider.
As a nail tech, your services should take place the same way:
Consult
A little optional (but recommended) chat in between.
And a set of gorgeously manicured nails
Now, once you’ve understood this flow, an implemented it in your business, things will slowly but surely begin to go smoothly, but you may still find yourself stuck when it comes to application. Like your application is still taking much longer than what you would like.
That is why today I will be sharing the two areas where nail techs struggle to keep consistent, quick and efficient time frames, which leads them to add 20-30 minutes of unnecessary service time. Are you ready? When you’re ready hit play!

I do my own nails but I still found these tips very helpful. I don't always file my nails flat when filing and I have flooded my cuticles many times. I thought I was being heavy handed but I couldn't seem to find the balance of enough builder to fill VS flooding my nail with product. This video was a light bulb moment!
