Since I started watching Banzea I've reached 1000 ELO, got a promotion and a raise in my career job and the girl of my dreams is begging me to take her in. This guy changed my life.

THANK YOU so much for playing so much Karo !!!!!!
"The bishop went back to his family after hunting for food.. Feeding the kids!" 🤣🤣
I love that you're so instructive with the Caro-Kahn. It's really improved my play with tactics - I'm currently sitting at 1058 ELO and the openings I typically play are the Caro, KID, and Vienna. I've watched your Jobava London videos, so I'm working on adding that to my repertoire as well!
I’m learning a lot from your presentations, thank you! Really enjoying the humor too.
One thing I noticed about the Caro-Kann is that even my otb games against the 1700-1900 range seem somewhat effortless. It’s crazy but just make sensible moves and wait for them to f**k up really works! edit: I should clarify that this didn’t happen until I started following Alex’s advice

I like how the caro has a "coiled snake" natural game plan where you make slow improving moves until its time to strike!

As a lower rated player i find difficulty in the caro kann, it seems pretty technical with lots of refutes. Personally seem to have better luck with fried liver or the jobava. Even in those openings sometimes i run into scenarios where i end up blundering everything and find myself wishing i just put my pawns in a wedge and develop naturally, hoping after understanding the other variations of the caro kann maybe will start to use it more.

I definitely had a learning curve with the caro, like any opening, but once i got some of the main ideas down, i am winning 55-60% of my games with it (1500-1600). What i love about it, is the pawn structure is largely the same in a lot of the variations, which creates familarity amongst the ideas across the variations.
Your videos have a very approachable style with subtle humor that doesn't detract from the useful lesson being presented. Thank you for the excellent content!
Amazing video! I really appreciate the minimal amount of digression toward discussing every possible variations out there. That could be great for advanced players, but easily overwhelm beginners like me.
I just want to show my gratitude for your videos. You inspired me to study the Caro-Kann and after spending hours watching your videos I just tried it with amazing success against a much better player than I who I’ve been playing with for many years. Thank you Mr. Banzea!
thank you alex for your caro kann video, my chess skill is improved a lot, i played caro kann with 93% accuracy 😁
Since watching your videos, i started to play the Caro. I went from 1120 to 1450 in blitz, win rate with black from 49% to 58%!! Its insane how powerful the opening is at this level. I enjoy watching the videos, thank you.

Thank u so very much Alex....you are my Caro kann super man....man u are it for me.....please keep on with caro!!!!
Day 1 watching Caro Kann simplified series. Started my first black opening with Caro. Since im not really familiar with the moves and purpose,i hope i will improve my opening along with this playlist.
Thank you. I improved my Karo Cann after your advice in the past. And now in game 2 i learnt a lot about the situations that gave me hard time.
I just discovered your channel! So I immediately subscribed of course! Thank you for your content, which is ( so far that I know) amazing! Big Up!
haha I really like how this guy is actual a good teacher, but he tries really hard to keep himself humble with those opponent rookie's mistakes😅😅
Alex, thank you for the deep explanations on all the videos. I appreciate them.
Just watching these videos shows the power of setup and strong technical setups then attack. Sometimes it feels like the opponent must be cheating. But obvs they arent, they just followed the clues left from others success. Great videos. The most instructive of all teaching videos ive watched on youttube to date. Drilling skills over and over. This is how anyone becomes successful in every facet of life and chess or poker or any gamble of skill
Your commentary is hilarious! Love the cockiness and I am a new subscriber. Hope your channel blows up with success.
The humor is only slightly behind the chess content as far as the enjoyment I get from your channel. Cheers!
Very instructive, learning along. Ty Alex.
I can't get enough of watching caro and London videos, so much knowledge. Great video
Love your humor! It is like going to a stand-up comedy and end up learning to play chess the right way.
The Michael Jordan of the Karo kan Chessable & KZread GOAT! Hoping for more Vienna soon, thinking I should switch to London tho. Thanks for these vids Alex!!
As usual very instructive and fun to watch! Thank you! 🤣👍

I finally hit 1600 after being stuck at 1400-1500 range in rapid for like a year. I watch a lot of Gotham videos, where I learned a lot, but I think these videos from Alex finally pushed me through to 1600 ELO range
I purchased your Caro-Kann course the other day after rejoining Chessable. Interesting ideas I can integrate into my current repertoire for variety. Thank you for your time creating this course.

I love Alex Banzea. I happened to giggle when he said "I guess it's just the power of the Caro Kann" while playing a 600-ish opponent. Yeah, it MUST be the Caro, sure ! :)
Was an awesome video.
“You don’t want to fuck around on f2 for too long” pure gold found nowhere else.
I would listen to this and the Jobava pawn push video between my games today. I just jumped 120 elo
Love your videos man🔥🔥
Thx, Alex!

"pp on the pp" is such a catch phrase i'm laughing everytime

Game 2. Taking in d4 with the knight is not such a bad move, because if Be3, black has intermidiate move Kxf3 with check
@10:43 if bishop e3, can't I just play Nxf3+, Qxf3 and then move my queen?
Humble request Make in depth video on usage of engine 1)What is meaning of depth and its use(maximum and minimum level)? 2)what is analyse by time(in second)? 3)what is NNUE? 4)what is threads/cores and hash in chessis engine app? Please please consider my request, I want that information.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That monster bishop just took the queen and rook and mated the king is absolutely unreal
Can you do a video focusing on transpositions with Caro Kann? Sometimes Caro transposes into French defense, sometimes London or semi slav transposes into Caro Kann, sometimes opponent’s English opening can be converted to panov
@Valentin-uv7wl

There is no real „transposition“ cause caro kann. Its different cause of the Opponent moves
Against the London is it on the chessable Caro kann course ?
Hey I enjoy your content not only the caro Kahn opening cause that's what I always play but u r a funny guy.. But what is your take on caro Kahn against queen opening d4? Can u play the caro Kahn and have success against d4? Your rival Gotham chess doesn't seem to think so...

Just an observation, I know it is a fast game. In the first gameI you had a mate in 2 after move 19. Not being judgemental, as I stated before it is just an observation.
The key is to not make any bad moves while waiting for the opponent to blunder. When you're playing somebody hundreds of points in strength below you even bad moves often work. That's not good for your improvement. This doesn't apply to Alex but it's pretty accurate for me.
Hi Alex, just out of curiosity what is the name of the White setup with b3 Bb2 Nc3 c4 d4 e3 Nf3?

Alex! As a IM playing against weak players, you should maintain respect despite their bad play or wrong choices, and not make fun of them. Of course they make mistakes to which you know how to react perfectly. Remember: this is about teaching chess, not a funny demonstration of weaknesses. Take your time to show us why the game of your opponents is bad. That makes very much sence. 😀
You are lowkey a handsome DOOD
Bro can u make a Dutch defense video
genius
Crushing 600's has nothing to do with the opening. They blunder - that's all that counts.
Dat video name change though.
Autopilot is my biggest problem.
Wish my opponents played that badly.😏
Hello Alex, please consider making your own chess board with pieces to sell. I'll buy it instantly
❤❤❤❤❤
I only see provisional players trying to play bishop f4 or bishop c4 asap when they’re white. So when I get them on lichess I’ll I try to play my first move right away d5 or e5 . E5 if d4 d5 if e4 and they’ll 9/10 times hang their bishop on my pawn. They’re just so excited to play a system they saw on levy’s channel and they’ll blitz out that bishop Automatically without a second though.
❤❤❤❤❤❤

I think that's why I have more wins with black 🤔
why do people try to promote caro like it's the secret to success. It doesn't matter what you play. Probably any decent player could get to 1700 with 1.f6 against everything. I think caro is OK but botvinnik is bad because dxc5 and Bf5 you're getting hit with h4, g4 and Nc3 which is not pleasant.
Yeah, this didn't work for me. I spent the whole game thinking "backwards, backwards, backwards," but I still played the same terrible moves. 😂
