I agree, they really need to add replay mode to Lego Fortnite, would make getting cinematic shots a lot better. I also the option to toggle first person view would be great. It seems the game mode is quite popular so hopefully Epic start throwing content at it

@@zuffyg4772 use the snap feature while building you hold it down and then it snaps the pieces while building it is a life saver hope this helped everyone

I wish you showed us how you built the corner off of the Stretch with the Gate entrance. After watching it looks like that one is built off of 8x8x1s and then you increase it to 12x12x1s for the side and thats where you show the corner being built So it throws us all off on the video.

Maybe next time you include measurements and say how long each side is so it’s easier for everyone without risking errors

Nice ❤ I have been mending a castle found near the snow. It was built with a few pieces we don’t have in our game at this time. Such as a huge red banner on the outside tower wall. I’m about to find an area to build like yours granted I can find enough flat land. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing what more you do with this build.

Halfway through the video, I was stumped by the dimensions of the corner appearing to not fit with the long wall, and after a little bit of scrutiny, it looks like the dimensions of the foundation used for this build changed from 16 x 16 to 20 x 20 partway through the video. Should we be using 20x20 dimensions if we want to follow this design?

Following along, from the front gate to the corner towers... you go from a thin walkway to a thicker walkway without explaining how you got a thicker walkway.

How thick does the square foundation need to be?

i dont have any problem with the day night or weather like its not a problem at all if you have temp turnd off

This is cool, but my problem with building elaborate buildings for my village is that I’m having problems with spawning inside walls and floors, which you have to destroy to get out. That glitch needs to be fixed, then things like this would be super cool to have.

Do you have a basic building guild to explain corners, walls, windows, and doors and how to plan them... i'm always off by a block or two just trying to build a square

Your castle corners, I was trying to copy brick by brick, but then I realized your foundation is 20 pegs wide when the foundation max is 16? Everything up to the castle corners worked like a charm. What am I doing wrong?

The foundation is 2 different foundation blocks, you use a 16x foundation and a 4x wide foundation together to get 20 in total. Just figured this out as well when I was building this and noticed how skinny my hallway looked inbetween the castle window wall pieces.

why did your castle get wider half way through?

You need to build an additional village in the desert biome, that unlocks the castle pieces :)

Quick question, when i try to build foundations they don't aline, some are higher than others, is there a way to fix that?

Yes, use Snap Mode and make sure you snap to the section you want to connect to, even if it isn’t align, then rotate the object while holding snap mode and it will align, I actually have a building tips and tricks video that explains loads here - kzread.info/dash/bejne/fGqpxc6cfK-2o5M.htmlsi=-QIV7GrL_U_27Plq hope this helps :)

Just get a bunch of granite and make sure you have a village that is located in the desert that is level 10 so you get all the various castle structures

How much granite would this take

At minute 7:50 you completely change the construction, because the bases magically enlarge

The foundation size changed from 16 pegs to 20 pegs after 7:21?

make a lvl 10 base in the desert biom. It unlocks all castle pieces

why arent the castle walls in the survival mode of the game? ive maxed out my vilige and there are no castle walls avalable

You need to build in the desert and then the mountain to unlock new things

A building game that can’t handle building is a desgrace I can’t build no more in my base

Building is terrible. It should have been basic 1x1, 2x2, and 1x2 bricks as big as the player. So that you could actually build like you did as a kid. Nudging would work way better. It feels like a i bought a bunch of current lego kits and they are all incompatible with each other. Also how are we expected to get these angles? And how is there no undo key? I have to punch everything??? The rest of the game is incredibly fun. Remarkable for a lego game lol

Yeah there is definitely a lot of things Lego Fortnite needs to become a better game. For me the biggest issue is the lack of content on objects to build with (understandable due to it being so new) Another is no replay mode for recording and no first person mode. I also fully agree with you about block size but (and I could be wrong here) I think that they wanted to make the game different to Minecraft in terms of 1x1 blocks as to not look like a carbon copy, however 1x1 blocks would be so good to build with. Great comment though Zircon, you make very valid points.

These walls are completely pointless and useless in a game mode without PvP and with PvE that has mobs which don't represent any danger whatsoever to your base.
