Hey guys super helpful video! very clear and easy to follow! One note, when removing the upper control arm bolt, I had a hell of a time getting it out. Ended up stripping threads on the bolts after hammering them out. One thing I did not realize is that the load is pulling up from the upper control arm, so if you pull that down it should help free that bolt. I kept trying to take weight by lifting from the bottom and it wasn't until I reinstalled that I found out why I couldn't get the bolt out.

good call!
Could I do this with only one jack stand at the front and the floor jack to take pressure off the arm? So for example only the right front wheel is lifted with a jack stand, then the left side. Thanks in advance. Looking to do this tomorrow and have it ready for a Sunday wedding!
How much was the labor
i bought a model 3 mid range used but the previous owner lowered it way too much and it scrapes very steep entrances. i want to lift it up back up to normal but cant find the stock springs, would the .75" springs help me clear more ground?

if your car is slammed, our springs will certainly help bring it up to a better ride height.
Is there an installation partner in the Chicagoland area that you guys recommend?

Any local performance shop!
A thin-walled 13mm socket will enable you to get the front strut assembly off the car (3 nuts at the top) without removing the whole control arm.

Yes, I ground down a standard 13mm long socket with an angle grinder - took a few seconds, and it fit perfectly. No need to remove the whole assembly.@@grigor9144
What's the ride quality reduction after these springs go in? If you had to estimate a percentage of increased "bumpiness" in the ride with these installed, what would you guess? 10% bumpier than stock? 20% increase in bumpiness?

Does the car need an alignment after the new springs are installed ?
@TSportline
Жыл бұрын
yes, we recommend alignment after any suspension modification.
I have a question, your saying to leave those lower control arm bolts on then lower the car to put weight on the springs. What do I do after that? raise the car back up and then retighten? I'm confused at that part.

Best to tighten bolts to spec in a "driving position".

@@TSportline so you have to sneak underneath the car after you put on the wheels and tighten it down? you showed everything else in so much detail but skip that part in the video?
@pwerboost

yes, you have to tight them down with the car full weight on the suspension, this will prevent the bushings from twisting and damage due to the wrong angle when the suspension is hyper extended it. so you have to sneak underneath and torque them down with the car in the floor.@@paongi

You can jack the suspension from under the knuckle and tighten the bolt
Hey I noticed those are definitely not stock taillights on the car in the video. Could someone find out what those are? They look sort of like BMW M3 GTS oled light design but for Tesla Model 3. I am familiar with tsportline products but haven’t seen those before and wondered what they are?
