Man Foreman's comeback is something straight out of an anime\movie, where the character just cant get over with the loss and he trains and trains to come back and redeem himself after years.

Young Foreman is the scariest thing in a boxing ring.

Foreman acted street tough and just a big guy. Liston had a new level of hardship for a childhood. Liston WAS tough and nobody messed with him. Liston is much more intimidating than Foreman or any other boxer. But as for mentally, I'm ngl. Ali would terrify me

@@thorn3807 Foreman "acted" street tough? Lol George grew up in a really hard place houstons fifth ward, getting in fights all the time and robbing people commiting crimes like mike tyson. George was no act, he was a big mean tough guy that whooped on everyone. Liston was tough too, why would you say he is tougher than george? Thats all stupid speculation that amounts to nothing.They both were beat by Ali.

Gotta love Ali. So busy yelling his 'Ali-isms' ('I am The Greatest! I'm so pretty,' etc) that he can't be bothered to give a post fight interview. Ali was a one-man Press Conference. Truly the greatest. We miss you, Champ. Forever. You were my hero growing up.

I hear alot of people say ali was their hero growing up but they usually are talking about him as a boxer not as a man. Hus in thing legacy pales in comparison to the greatness he displayed outside of the ring. I doubt most of these fans he is as hero yo share or celebrate his true heroism when they where growing up

Can we just all appreciate the chin that George Foreman had. He took some of the biggest punches from Tommy Morrison, Michael Moore and Evander Holyfield yet he just kept going forward and fighting. Not even a knockdown was scored against him during his second boxing run. I honestly don't know how Ali knocked out a younger and more dangerous version of him🤷♂️

That's how you know why Ali's so respected and is the greatest. He fought some ofthe most impossible fights (sonny liston, George foreman, united States of America) and won all of them.
@Priceluked
Жыл бұрын
Ali's KO was more to do with George being too tired to even keep his arms up and stay standing than actually having his consciousness taken.
The Ali vs Sonny to me is still the biggest upset. Ali himself knows if it's a street fight Sonny would murder him but he can't outbox him

I remember watching one of their interviews where Ali started talking about how he was going to destroy Liston and Liston pulled a revolver out and started firing over Alis head and laughed when Ali ran. Another fantastic video. What I find really intimidating about George Foreman in his prime is that his punches look so casual, more like half-serious thumps. in comparison, the punches that Mike Tyson threw were just savage, dynamic, you could see the raw power and the intent to hurt the opponent. But when Frazier just fell as if struck by lightning, the hit looked so effortless. Marvellous to behold.

I've never been so shamed to be British than the night those disgraceful scenes at the minter v hagler fight took place. Hagler give minter a boxing lesson that night and whilst I was upset that minter lost, I still appreciated the way hagler fought that night.
