@@jf1484 The difference is this. A striker can miss 9 shots but if they score that one shot, that shot outshines all the misses. But For a Goalkeeper, they can save 9 shots but that one miss outweighs the 9 saves.

Gerard Piquè once said "If an attacker were to make a mistake in front of goal, not many people would talk about it, but if a defender or Goalkeeper were to make a mistake, nobody would stop talking about it!" Quite frankly, it's true, I've experienced this myself because I play in goal! If an attacker were to score a simple goal, they would be praised for staying composed, but if a keeper makes a simple save, they will be ridiculed and people would say thing like "Its a simple save" or "even I could do that". Problem with those phrases are that it takes a lot of concentration, bravery and quick thinking to be a goalkeeper. I'm not putting down attackers in any way, but just understand that being a goalkeeper isnt easy, especially when playing a stronger team!

In Manchester United we dont call IT saves we call it bad shots and when u r getting 20 shots at You in one game your chance off making mistakes are higher if u look at allison he let goals in that every goalie in Pl whould have saved but he still wins games with mistakes bc off HIs team.
