As an Indian vegetarian, now is when I think I'm truly getting the scale of this man's eating prowess. It doesn't maybe register as much when he's scarfing down hamburgers and steaks and what not, but to respectfully polish off a thali like that? You are legend.

The amount of food he ate in 30 minutes, I'd probably eat over the span of 3-4 days split into breakfast, lunch and dinner. He is a beast!

I love the manager, he not only told you the names and explained their ingredients but he gave you a tour of India too. He's the kind of soul that makes our melting pot more colorful and flavorful; he clearly loves and cares about the food. I also like how the challenge is very fair on portions. The bowls aren't massive and are reasonably full not overflowing. Very nice place. Wonderfully sweet gentleman running the show.

Man, this is the kinda challenge I would love. SO many different types of dishes and so many different flavors. Almost impossible to get flavor fatigue. Joel of course powered through it in a half hr while talking as the gentleman he is. Looks so good. As a meat eater myself, I love me some tasty vegetarian dishes as well.

I think about the flavour fatigue you must experience from time to time, but then I see this challenge, and it's almost the polar opposite. I'd be overwhelmed by all the different flavours, and we all know how much flavour Indian food packs into everything; in the best way possible. Simply amazing what you accomplish. It also looks fantastic to boot.

The manager should get a raise. His manners and knowledge is first class. Great video yet again!

Looks amazing. Love Northern Indian/ Punjab cuisine. Tons of amazing vegetarian dishes. Extremely flavorful. I was for 5 years and I found this to be my favorite region of Indian cuisine.

I love how you are not scared to try things! It’s good to hear you comment on all the different flavors. You make me hungry but can definitely make me feel full too cuz of the quantity lol!

Ooh yum! We love a 'ruby' over here in the UK, and we're lucky enough to have some really amazing Indian restaurants 🤤 My fave has to be chicken tikka pathia, bombay potatoes, peshwari naan and some onion bhajis... phwoar!

This challenge looks so flavor packed. I'd be in heaven, but couldn't eat anywhere near what Joel could. And I get both hungry and full watching. As he goes along I get full, but at first it makes me hungry....it's a weird concept.

Great video! Am indian from the west indies, never had most of the dishes but looks amazing,! Love watching you!

I have not tried most of these but I feel like this is a nice way to highlight that food can be delicious and flavourful even if it's vegetarian and there's plenty of options and different ways to cook different vegetables, because a lot of the times people think being vegetarian means just eating salads, which does not sound appetizing.
