Hi brother. Your videos are much useful . My processing is ongoing waiting for DL. Hoping it to come in few days. One thing I missed to understand in this video regarding PCC and medical. This is required for PR purpose right ? What kind of medical required, where and how to do it. I know immunization medical to be done well prior to take the cap admission. What is the medical you talked about. Appreciate if you can clear my doubts Thank you .

Hi Gaurav, Thanks for providing detailed information about Nz process. I really want to know about CAP as I have been living in Australia from past 1 year and currently I am waiting for my DL from Nursing council. I have following doubts:- 1.From Australia to NZ the visitor visa process will be same right? I’m only going to NZ for my Registration as in Australia OBA process is taking too long and expensive than other options and there’s no such competency course available in here, so my main question is can I change my visitor visa to work visa after going to NZ while doing CAP , so that I can work as Nursing Aide/ assistant in NZ while doing my CAP course?? 2. I have already done my ICHC or fit to work check as mentioned in the email by NZ council at the time of invitation . Do I need to pay for my ICHC again?? As it’s been more than 2 months that I have completed both from Australia and India . 3. About CAP course, is it really hard or what type of courses is it? As I am not very good at numericals , so could you please make a video about type of questions and syllabus of CAP ??

1. I don’t suggest that just try to focus on you CAP. 2. No need to do ICHC again. 3. Every college has different patterns of CAP. I already shared mine. You can check it out here. Brother,you can’t expedite it at any cost. It would be better for you, if you prepare your mind for CBT/ NCLEX, because you definitely have to sit on that.

I have a clinical placement in one week so I am doing my second part of CAP where it’s there is information about OSCE and booking date for it. But I am not too sure how to go about it and I am stressed how to prepare myself for it . And do I have to book it before my clinical placement. It’s all very confusing.

No, this won’t work. You have to do it again because for Reading, it requires minimum 350. Assessments don’t allow you to get registration in Nz. Despite of your Current location, in order to get registration and work as a RN. You have to complete CGFNS and then NZ Nursing council will assess your application. Btw, from tomarrow, they are going to implement new Changes for International qualified nurses.
