I have a lefty friend and we were discussing this just yesterday after watching a video of someone taking a lefty and making it a righty. My friend doesn't ever care about going and just looking because none of the local stores carry any lefty's other than Squires. Sure wish you guys were across the pond. And I've got to say.....this was one damn great video. Keep it up and I' ve subscribed. Thanks for the posting.

It makes me happy to see such a selection! One of the biggest issues with being a lefty player is that you can't really try before you buy because you have to order it online because no store holds that exact guitar. Sure, if you're after a sunburst budget strat, you're fine, but if you're after a Danelectro or a Univox or an 8th string or anything "non standard" you're screwed.

Our local store had (or maybe has, I don't know) the natural Pacifica as their lefty selection. A bit better than a sunburst or black & white Strat but not much. I bought both my guitars online...

I'm a left handed person. My dad bought me a guitar but that guitar have a right handed string. So I'm really struggling using it because everytime I'm practicing, I'm using it upside down. I've decided to adjust it and turn my guitar to right handed string so that I can practice much better. But my brother told me if I ever do that, there's a chance that the tone will change. Then, I watch videos in yt and found out that there's nothing wrong being a lefty. The tone with an upside down string will always be the same. And Ive decided if my dad will buy me again a guitar. I will told him to buy a lefty one

Reversing the order of the strings works fine - that's what Jimi Hendrix did after all! My 3 guitars all were intended for righties, but I have them reverse-strung so I can play them lefty and they work just fine; personally, I wouldn't bother paying the extra for a specialty lefty version...And I actually prefer having a reverse-strung formerly-righty electric- even if cost weren't an issue - because with the whammy bar on the top instead of the bottom I can use my forearm/wrist to manipulate it while playing.

I'm a Lefty and have just started taking lessons. I've been taking lessons for about two months and coming along pretty good. I have made a promise to myself. If I'm still playing and still getting into it one year from the day I started taking lessons. I'm going to your store and buy two lefthanded guitars. I gonna get an acoustic and a good top of the line electric guitar. I live North Mobile, Alabama, so I have so far to drive buying two of what I want would be the best thing to do. I think it's GREAT what you all are doing, by not putting us lefties on the back burner. I will see ya'll in about 10 months. Sincerely Mike Walters

I am a lefty but because it’s hard to find a lefty guitar, I was forced to learned Right Handedly the picking part would be challenging at first but you’ll get used to it thru practice.

I’m naturally right handed but I’m training myself to play left handed. First time I picked up a guitar and started playing it was my friends and he’s left handed. I really must say that when you’re predominantly right handed....training yourself to use the left side of your body is really a struggle cus then you got make your body get used to using the other side which is such a challenge. But it’s fun. I tried playing right handed a couple times but my right fingers dont seem to stretch out as far as my left fingers and I’ve also realized I have better grip and movement in my left hand than my right. Idk if this makes sense to anyone but it seems to me that with me playing left handed it’s just more naturally convenient.

As a beginner guitarist who also happens to be left handed, I bought a starter pack with a left handed guitar. Then, I learned that most left handed guitars are stupidly more expensive than right handed guitars, that if I wanted to play on a signature guitar (which I very, VERY much want to), I would need to get a right handed guitar, and that many left handed people actually play guitar right handed, which is why I've decided to learn to play right handed. However, my personal experience and thoughts aside, I really appreciate that there are at least shops, somewhere on this planet, that cater to us lefties. If only signature guitars came with both flavours...

So my initial thoughts were: Im wanting to learn the guitar. Im left handed Ive held my sisters guitar LH and RH Both feel quite the same. Id prefer for my left hand to do both strumming and chords. And I also prefer for my face to look to the left. Yet id prefer for my RH to play chords Because I feel like my RH wont have the rhythm my left hand has. I feel like i should go with RH guitar because it’s probably a safer option and i can always switch. My opinion now: After someone brought up the air guitar thing I always play it LH and i’ve never realised that. So I’m just going with my gut and buy a left handed guitar. If in a year time i feel like im struggling i can always switch to RH. I gotta say i do feel like a guitar should be played righthanded but maybe its because im used to seeing that

Can't forget about the lefties!

I am really struggling to decide what hand to play with, I am a lefty but I'm ambidextrous in some areas like most of us have to be. I played right handed for a year or so in my teens and have just bought my first lefty almost 10 years later. I can still play a few songs and chords on my old guitar but i'm hopeless with my new lefty. should I keep going with the lefty or go back to the righty that I started with?

It's all really about what's comfortable for you my friend. Did you have any problems or issues playing a righty in your teens? If you were successful with that, I would consider going back to if. If it were more comfortable and easier than it is now, then going back to a righty might be your best bet!

I'm lefty too.. i just need the body for left but strings & pickups still normal like right hand..

Portland, Oregon, U.S. If I want a lefty in store here I can choose from a Squier Strat (black), Squier Tele (natural finish), or a Les Paul knockoff (cheap sunburst). Although a local store here had a lefty Fender American Professional Jazzmaster, sold it immediately, and then opted not to get any more. I should have listened to my first guitar teacher when he told me to play right-handed. I want to visit your store!

I went into a store in New Jersey years ago and they had like 9 lefty guitars there and I about lost my shit, if I saw a store with ¼ of this selection I think I'd fall out from shock

got a lefty black strat a few years ago from a pawn shop fro my 51st birthday ...didn't know the previous owner had strung it for right hand (showing you exactly what sort of newbie i am)... still trying to learn how to play the bugger after finally getting a decent fender practice amp... need a pedal or two to obtain the sound i really want...but i guess learning to play first would help

Just bought a really, really great Rickenbacker 360/12 LH from this store online. And I have bought many others over the years. A really great shop that I trust and recommend . Guitar guitar is the best for the left-hander. Actually, if anyone who works for the store in Glasgow is reading, My Rickenbacker is an amazing instrument to play. Cost a lot, but well worth the money. Cheers, guys.

You're lucky to find one in stock. I had to sell most all my righty guitars to re-buy lefty & it wasn't easy.

There are some of us who are right handed that play “lefty” too. So grrrreat that you have so many to chose from!

My favorite counting game. Walking into Guitar Center to see how many guitars I can play. Last time I was there. Four electrics and one acoustic. Broken Strat, great squire, and another Strat. Its always great seeing all the Ibanez and Schecter guitars as well as Kiesel that I can't touch. It's the same with guitar give aways and contests.

Being a lefty I know there are issues with simply swapping the strings, but what I don't know and would like to know is if there are any issues in swapping right-handed classical guitars to left-handers, usually the bridge is straight up and down and the fingerboard is flat but are there any internal structural issues?

I alternate between activities, like when I write I use my left hand, and for sports I use my right hand. That causes a problem as I couldn’t decide which to use, and would appreciate some guidance

Our guitar center used to call it “Lefty Land” and it was small shitty wall space for maybe 3-4 guitars. Half of which were used trade-ins. 😂

Whenever I ask for the left hand guitar section they point to the EXIT sign - I'm right handed except for a very few things - shooting pool , rifle and playing guitar - lucky me
