Great video! I’m about to do my first flight today on my DJI Mini Pro 4. Lenses and Goggles 3 are still on the way, but all I need to do at present is just fly it. Learn how it feels. Get used to the controls, etc and do a little filming in my local area. Glad I purchased two years of DJI refresh insurance!

Thank you - really appreciate your kind feedback. Unfortunately you can't restore the default setting for each adjustment individually, but you can restore all the settings for each individual "mode" subheading under Gain & Expo by scrolling to the bottom and choosing the reset option. Hope that helps!

👍👍@The Drone Creative - Great tips, but the real problem is the control sticks are TOO short, much shorter than on standard RC aircraft transmitters. Don't know why DJI continues to screw this up, after all, DJI wants you to stow them when not flying to save space. Yep, they were too short on my Mini 1 controller and they're too short on my new Mini 4 Pro RC-N2. What's worse is DJI makes these incompatible among different models. I just ordered an extended height set for a Mini 4 Pro RC2 controller, thinking they're the same fit as RC-N2, but they're not. RC-N2 has larger (3mm?) male/external threads while RC2 has smaller (2mm?) female/internal threads. And my Mini 1 control sticks have larger female threads, so none are compatible. I wonder what hallucinogenics they're smokin'/swallowing/injecting over there at DJI to conjure up something that adds unnecessary cost, is stupid, and inconvenient? Anyway, just subscribed so keep 'em coming young fella! Merry Christmas from Thailand!😁

Hi Matthew, I need your help or advice. I went out and flew my mini 3 pro today and did a circle mode around rectangle castle in Quick Shot. Started off nice and slow just after the halfway mark it speeded up. Was this to the distance around the castle. I tried it 3 times and it done it each time. I have not noticed this before. I had no other issues with the drone. Appreciate you thoughts.

To summarise, the curves change the speed of drone reaction and at 07.00 he shows the settings he uses. In cinema and normal select 0.15 for all 3 curves and job done.

Thank you for helping me with my mini 4 pro experience. Just one question regarding the Expo settings. I'm assuming the settings will be saved, but just to be sure; after adjusting those settings, will they be saved for future flights, or will I need to adjust them every flight?

You should try the best for You. Start with 0.15 and try. Then try 0.2 and 0.25 You will see wich one is the best for You. For me it's 0.2 for cine and 0.25 for normal. I also adjusted the speed a little lower in cine mode (5m/s maximum flight speed with 1,5 m/s up/down and 30°/sec rotation speed.)

Another great video Matthew. Would you mind commenting on this item in your videos. In your earlier video The BEST DJI Mini 3 Pro Settings! (UPDATED 2023) when you were illustrating Gain/Expo in the various modes, the Expo graphs and settings appeared in each of Normal and Sport, but not in Cine? In this video the Expo graph appears with the settings in Cine mode?? What's with that? Was it missing in an earlier version? I have the same issue with my Mini 2. When DJI updated the app, the Mini 2 rec'd Gain/Expo settings also. What is interesting is like your first video, the Expo graphs appeared in Normal and Sport but not in Cine??? Is this a bug in the program? I have the most current versions of everything. Any thoughts from you or your viewers as to why the Expo graphs and settings are missing in the Mini 2 (but only in Cine mode)? Thks, Bruce

Thanks for the enlightenment . I notice you are also using the Dji mic for the voice is it possible to plunge on the controller?

To prevent my Mini 3 Pro from overheating while performing extensive RC Controller preflight adjustments, I place a portable fan underneath the aircraft. It keeps the aircraft cool and I can take my time to make the preflight RC Controller adjustments.

I did alter those settings and found out it was not good in all situations. Then used reset. The factory settings are well chosen as generally working well. Altering those settings one doesn't really know what it will be like. Of course testing the settings, verifying, trimming them is possible. But how fun will flying be working through that procedure "every time"? It works better to learn how to use the factory sensitivity as I feel.

Excellent tutorial! For my mini 2 I see the Expo settings available for Normal and Sport. However, the Expo settings are not available for Cine mode -- I wonder why? That's the most important mode to adjust the Expo settings I would think... Am I missing something?
