Marketing 101 He could easily donate the amount he is trying to raise from shifting some back logged merchandise for his manufacturer.. 200,000$ he could donate and have a tax free foundation if he was seriously serious. It is a kind gesture but the reason is marketing and promotion.

@@BrodyLuv2 It's nice to see someone recognise this in media. People think these charity events and giveaways are done out of the kindness of their hearts. In reality, this is a very cheap (financially speaking) method of marketing yourself. To advertise on billboards, TV, radio, online etc,. costs a fortune. A company can spend millions on TV advertising, but if they just "donate" profits from a days worth of sales to a good cause, well that's potentially a million dollars worth of advertising right there. The way to think of it when well known people do this is; they're not really donating/giving money (especially if they're telling you that they're doing it), they're investing/paying money to market themselves or their product, but rather than pay an ad agency for their marketing, they're paying a charity for their marketing. This "pushback" was definitely planned well ahead of time.

As a daughter, sister & wife to my dad Navy Vet, Brother Army vet & my husband USAF retired vet. Regardless of your opinion of how he’s raising money for our vets, I’m appreciative of people like him that recognize our men & women who serve our country. They all are the brave & 3% that stood up and said I’m signing this check to the United States of America up to my death to protect my country from foreign & domestic enemies. They don’t make tons of money, the pay for their BDU’s boots and all. Dress Blues shoes and all. Tomorrow my husband and I will remember our family members who served & died for this country so you can run your mouth on how you think he should handle his money & marketing. All who served and died, our family is keeping your families in our prayers. I thank you for their service & love of country. May God comfort you as we remember them & know they will not be forgotten. Blessings always

the negativity here is amazing. He could go to a hospital and volunteer his time and you'd STILL find a reason to say it's bad. Maybe someone can be rich AND passionate about a cause. My husband is a disabled vet. When I met him, he was hopeless and nearly homeless. We now own our own business, and he absolutely loves his job and his life. All praises to God, if it weren't for Him, our lives would be so different. So if you are or know a disabled vet, hang in there, things can get better. Hello from Canada. My grandfather was in the Canadian Army and was killed on base in Southern Ontario. He died when my mom was 5, I wish I would have known him. I admire people who take care of vets, whether in the US or Canada, they should be taken care of. God bless you.

This old fourth generation vet thanks you from the bottom of my heart. Being a divorced vet, with TBI and PTSD, existing under a VA homeless program for vets. I can say this hits real close to home for me. Yet it's bigger than that for me. It is what you and Nova have created both your music and the HOG fan base. If I hadn't found you about over 4 years ago, I don't know if I would be here. ⁠@@PersianversionDo you think the fallen would appreciate you bashing their brothers and sisters that survived the horror? Do you not think survivors guilt will ensue when you say this? Stop bashing a cause. Veterans Day is just that; celebrating the vets living or passed. Memorial Day, remembering the ones that survived and the ones that passed. Just stop.

Love this!! My husband is a retired Air Force veteran! My daughter is active duty navy. My son is signing up for the marines and will leave next year after his senior year! We are a big military family 🥰
