Impact of climate change on the forest

The long-term effects of climate change and their intensity are difficult to predict. Foresters and scientists, however, are trying to counteract these processes. They rely on knowledge, experience and analysis of climatic and natural data. They also use various models, including modern neural network methods. Many programmes have been developed to counteract climate change and to mitigate its effects, as well as many schemes for dealing with various types of disasters.

Out of all of your excellent videos I found this the most profound, although more challenging also. We have been given a chance to share a little of the expertise of your scientists and forest professionals, and made aware of the effort involved in understanding the complexity of the forest ecosystems; how climate change is impacting them in such an accelerated timescale; and what you are able to do to counteract some of the problems arising such as drought, extreme weather and invasive species. It is such a contrast to so much of the short-term consumer culture that so many people live in today, to see the vision and dedication of those trying to create and sustain forests and their ecosystems over decades or centuries. Thank you for another film that gives hope for Mother Nature, while at least your Polish forests are in such wise and honest hands.

The broad intoduction to the topic starting from 2:07 is just not accurate. It is stated that temperatures have most likely risen since the late little ice age. This, to me, is most likely correct. However, afterwards the speaker infers that the rise in extreme weather events during the same period have been caused by the rise in temperature. This is of course the status-quo, but it's only an assumption. These two observations are correlated, but there isn't necessarily a causative relationship between the two. A more likely cause for the increase in weather anomalies is deforestation. If hydrological cycles are not working properly, extreme weather is the result. Hydrological cycles are most effective in forested ecosystems.

That is why there is no deforestation in Poland. We cut down, but then we plant and the forest area increases.

Obtaining energy through worms such as sea worms, purifying organic matter, and obtaining energy stones. There are shells and crustaceans that turn into organic materials that produce energy stones.

The most important element in the seas is the energy stone that maintains the balance of the environment, cleans bosons from harmful radiation and gives them pure radiation.
