Personally I just want to thank you for making these videos, I am predominantly a visual learner and though I love studying biomedical science, the lectures have been hard to follow. It's important to note that I'm not replacing all of my revision with these videos but you are very good at illustrating the main points, you create a clear context on which to work from. Thanks so much!

Absolutely brilliant. My second week of med school, and this was proving a real thorn in my side. You have done such a brilliant job - I now fully understand how this integrates with the innate response, answering questions like "why does histamine get released?" etc. I will be sharing with the rest of my cohort! Something I don't think you mentioned, which may be obvious to some but not all, is that the C1q,C1r,C1s complex will bind to antibodies IgG and IgM via the C1q subunit of the complex (the site of the complex that associates with the Fc region of the antibody).
