    vernon ward What did he mean by un-fuck? Like fucking someone over? Fucking someone over is kinda subjective, it's not a black and white, positive/negative thing. There are blurred lines and lots of grey areas, many ways to perceive what one might consider being fucked over. Right?

    I think he is fairly relevant. He's one of those who can bridge street values with some level of knowledge. How many guys in hiphop or connected to the street can elucidate themselves in any pertinent fashion? Very few..they seem to be either one or the other. The only person well versed on different topics when it comes to social issues that I can recall off the top is KRS One.

    NO! Tech has heart. He has a heart full of love. He has PASSION! THAT IS NOT ANGER OR AGGRESSION! You don't understand passion. I'm a working class white boy. When I talk about sociopolitical or geopolitical issues, I have the same feeling; I don't look in the mirror, but I imagine I look like tech when I talk about the same things. You are confused. You need to read and to learn.

    He's right about the racist bit. I'm black and I've been called racist for being against racial profiling. If that's not a clear indication of how stupid and fucked up America is I don't know what is.

  • @Charles-tt3dr

    cabalofdemons Same here! I was called racist for pointing out the schools to prison pipeline that started back in the 1970's when the public school systems created Special Ed classes for young black children. *When people in the dominant society call you a racist that's because they don't have any critical thinking skills. Everytime one of these Caucasians call me a racist i ask them to give me the definition of a racist & not one of them could give me a straight answer!

  • @cabalofdemons

    @cabalofdemons

    9 жыл бұрын

    Charles 91771 Exactly. It's interesting how some white people will accuse of using the "race card" but then turn right around and raise it against us. In order for America to be post-racial, it must be post-racist. And it's unfortunate that so many are reluctant to face their prejudices and come to terms that they benefit from privilege.

  • @cabalofdemons

    @cabalofdemons

    Stevenson Holt Most crime is intra-racial and whites are far more likely to commit crimes against other whites and blacks against blacks. Instead of saying 'black crime is out of control" you never hear about the outrageous murder rate by whites against whites. 84% of whites murdered in 2012 were killed by other whites. Yet, you don't hear the media saying "white on white" crime is out of control. Hell, look at the Pumpkin Festival Riots in New Hampshire a few days ago. They rioted and it was seen as rowdy, when blacks in Ferguson protested, they called in SWAT and set off tear gas.

    yaya marie he's only made one half decent LP too. Joking aside I'm white, grew up in London but was very much part of the hip-hop, soul scene and thropugh my love of Curtis, Niina Simone etc have read a great deal on the civil rights struggle etc. What shocked me recently was watching the brilliant documentary, The House I Live In, about the totally pointless War On Drugs and it's repercussions. I found it staggering, maybe as a Brit where thank God we don't have things like 3 strikes and you're out. people (mainly black people and poor white people getting life for 3 counts of possession with no violent offenses. There were judges, prison officers, cops on it saying, it's crazy, unfair, ridiculous and it's jailing a generation. Seriously fucked up so I agree with you...it still goes on.

    Castiel Diallo What has Elvis got to do with this?! Compared to other industry created rappers, Em paid his dues through the battle scene and tried to shop his demo. Em deserves to be where he's at and if people don't like his music, listen to someone else period! I do not understand people that invest their time and energy to dwell on people they do not like, it's a waste of energy. There's a wide range of rappers/musicians that love to have fans but people nowadays rather put their time in effort in downtalking rappers they do not like......y'all people need to get a life or get professional help asap!!!!

    I don't call you a racist and to a certain extend I get your point. Thing is, a lot of white people who grew up on Hip Hop know that Hip Hop is rooted in black culture and always will be. To me personally Hip Hop has done more in bettering race relations than any religion or poltics. I hate the industrialisation of Hip Hop and they try to water down Hip Hop because it is easier to sell a wack artist than an artist like Immortal Tech, Dead Prez, ect. I grew up on 80s/90s rap and most of my favorite MC's will always be of that era. I hope in 15 years Hip Hop will be in a better place with rappers of all races.....smart lyrics have to come back because commercial rap sucks imo

    Idk why people say Jesus was black or white. He was Middle Eastern. To be honest if you look at the complexion of Palestinians today, he most likely looked just like that. He would not have been black or white. His tribe didn't come from Europe or Africa, they came from Iran if Jesus truly was a descendant of David and some say though him Abraham. Stop trying to claim a religious figure to your race.

    Graham Walker but he was black tho bc the origin of the Bible was at a time where people who resided in Africa (The Middle East) were black af. Bc at the end of the day the Middle East was Africa before the Middle East

    A lot of people seem to believe Jesus was white, because that's the way he's depicted in the bible and in most modern, American and European churches..But most people don't know that King James of the UK revised a huge portion of the bible to fit his nation's laws and agendas in the 16th century.. There is a chance however that Jesus was black, due to the fact that "Middle easterners" and Africans have been in contact with each other since the beginning of written history.. You're right though, he was most likely of a light brown/ tan skin tone.

    "Contracted to say that" is hitting the nail on the head. DMX lost his life because he broke his contract, and refused to rap about what he was supposed to. That can be said for a LOT of artists.

    Wow. What an interview! I have never heard of Jason Parker but he gives an incredible interview, Tech is the man too! I love the question about if he is worried about dying for his freedom of speech/ technique at 20:44. This is what hip hop is missing in my opinion, Is this on tv? If not, it should be.
