@@lennydurrbeck4340 like will ramos seems to have maybe more versatile head room with his vocals and overall is a sick vocalist but Cj has smth in it which tops most of those vocalists and is far more brutal. the tone just fking slams and it contstantly has those gurgly vibrations in it and the highs are smth else too, feels more like pulled mids but always sound so feral and gnarly.😡

I'm pretty sure this song and the band are both a nod and slap to those bands. Cj got kicked from signs...went to Lorna...got kicked from Lorna due to false allegations and by the grace of happen stance got will Ramos who is equally as good...at this point in time I kinda feel signs is just like gone lol. Lorna is only relevant BECAUSE of CJ atleast in a mainstream sort of sense while will kept them afloat and brought them a tad higher. I hear this and not only does it sound heavier it gives us sounds we've never heard vocally.

It isn't as hard as you'd think and you might even surprise yourself by how long you can do it using the technique. I can't remember exactly what she calls it, but it's basically where you do a small, short and sharp inhale, much like when people are shocked/surprised, eg "*gasp* I left the oven on!". That being said, it's still a great moment in the track.

About a year or so ago I drove to Pittsburgh to get my haircut by CJ, I talked with him for about 20 or so minutes before ever disclosing to him that I knew who he was and that I am a huge fan of his work. Before and after he never changed his demeanor. We talked about music tattoos and of course what got him into cutting hair. He and I still chat occasionally and I will say that he seems like a very genuine person. As you can see in my profile picture, he even signed the photo and mailed it back to me. Deep down and on the surface he’s a good fucking dude and will always be one of his biggest fans, and this track has so much heart into it and for the world I can say it was worth the fucking wait!!!!

I can’t imagine how painful it must be for him to see how much attention Lorna shore gets these days. I’ve got to admit I love what they are doing but he is also one of the greatest deathcore vocalist too. He thinks they're close enough to be friends at this point. Then some girl comes along and accuses him of being a nazi/white supremacist (iirc?), sexually abusive, and more or less the white R. Kelly of metal. No evidence suggesting anything said girl accused him of is true, yet Twitter and every SJW comes after him with no knowledge of him personally or his activities behind closed doors. That he's evil, that he's toxic, that he should kill himself, that he should no longer be allowed to make music. Yet, while that girl has zero concrete evidence and is enjoying ruining his life - not just his career - his actual personal LIFE, he comes back with texts more or less proving everything she said was a lie. They should've at least doubted her words, but instead they kick him from the band and immediately bring in the most LGBTQ-friendly, non-white vocalist possible. Will Ramos being neither white nor straight is telling enough.

I think Lorna shore had like 2 popular songs before CJ got there, signs of the swarm were huge but they took a heavy hit once CJ left. They released maybe 2 songs since CJ left that reached 1m views which is a shame because signs still slaps

I'm an Indonesian, I don't really follow the news or infotainment out there because of the algorithm. but i remember the first time this guy appeared on my youtube homepage with signs of the swarm, not long after that he disappeared, a few years later i found this person again with lorna shore, and disappeared again. basically, I got to know and started listening to this kind of genre because of this guy. counted 3x ads, with three different bands. and I've always loved it.

Hyped AF for this guy, he really dragged through pure hell, with people accusing him of something he never did, he hadn't stepped back, he came back stronger and powerful than ever. That's the man.

I think both are great but Will is definitely better in my opinion, on his patreon he’s put out like 20 different songs doing such crazy shit, and the velociraptor noises aren’t original they’ve been done before. Will can do some shit the public has not heard yet and it’s INSANE can’t wait for the new Lorna album

Jesus! This song ended up turning into what sounds like CJ's take on Will Ramos' vocal performance and infamous "animal/zombie" fry scream, before the breakdown in Lorna Shore's "To the Hellfire"! CJ has equally matched it and my god is this track brutal. Surely this holds the record for the longest guttural ever! The king has reclaimed his throne!

CJ has used similar lyrics in all of his bands, you can find similar lyrics in Immortal and the disfigurement of existance. As for the name its a combination of his best works, that being "Immortal" and the "Disfigurement of existance" normally when people search for it CJ's music pops up so that helps with publicity, also deathcore band names all suck. So you cant say anything really

So fucking happy to see him back in the game 🙌🏽 so fucking heavy, so fucking perfect, I need more! Strictly matter of opinion on both sides tho, but for some knowledge, I've been listening to LS since before anyone even really knew their name I've been to more than several major concerts and have followed them on every major social site even before fame and the truth of it is, Barber made LS known, CJ made LS popular and built the fan base, Ramos was Givin what was already built. Bye the time he got involved with LS all he had to do was look pretty and play the part. A LS concert these days are no where near comparable what a LS concert was 5 to 6 years ago.

Nice to see CJ back... and sporting some new vocal dynamics, too! I love the rich soundscape (something I also love about LS) - more than just lots of screaming, fast drums, and guitar. And 30 seconds is a long time to hold a single note/scream/growl... whatever. Well done!
