Personally, my take is you’ll be able to pick up certain words and phrases over time. Some vocalists have better pronunciation then others, some parts are just meant to be completely indistinguishable. Hope that was a helpful answer, thanks for checking us out :)

Also you should check out Whitechapel and their album Kin, in my opinion it’s like the perfect introduction to these heavier styles of metal and you could make out most of the harsh vocals
