Naturally, we don't blame them. With no connections to the place, it makes perfect sense that they ran off, blindly following their master for the sake of following . How commendable.

They were bought there by britain prior to their independence and helped build pre independent Kenya. They were then told to leave. They left and became successful elsewhere whilst the countries that kicked them out economically collapsed. They made up less than 0.5 percent of the country. They were model immigrants. No crime or social decadents. Yet were told to leave. Fair enough. The Asians succeeded elsewhere and Kenya, Uganda and Tanszania suffered economically, their leaders were unable to fulfill the promises they made about empowerment for the natives. Once the Asians had left there was no one else to blame. Anyways all the best to these countries. I hope they do well.

@StarOfDavid444 in terms of economic power, military power and being seen as a trusted country in the world it’s India. I never once referred to India. I merely stated that these Indians living in East Africa who were made to leave have become successful elsewhere. The average family that left these countries and went to the UK are now a millionaire family. When Indians left the economies of these countries collapsed. It’s taken them over 40 years to finally see economic growth.

@@TheRightHonRai indians aided and worked for the conolizers, why should those nations keep them after independence their white masters left so they also should have left with their masters, africa for africans.

@@sakurakou2009 the Indians were colonised themselves and simply went to a new country to help build that country when asked to do so. The Africans done the same when the colonisers asked them to go somewhere to help build a country (post slavery I am referring too) Some Africans didn’t want the Indians there and felt that the Indians had a major stake in their economy and that wealth hadn’t trickled down to the Africans. Fair enough. They asked them to leave and the Indians left and became even more successful elsewhere. The Africans on the other hand who had asked them to leave became more poor and realised they had been sold a lie. Soon they had to go to war to build public moral and lost that war too. On the theory of Africa for Africans. Should Britain expel the blacks from their country. Europe for Europeans. Africans were called to the UK by the British to help build Britain as were Indians called to Africa by the British to help build Africa. Many Africans in the UK were not even called to the UK. They just came and have used the law to their advantage to stay in the UK despite popular opinion being in the UK being that they want immigration to be controlled better. Today there are 1000’s of Africans in India that remained there after india got independence. Indians were bought to Africa to build the railway and help administer and build these African nations that were now under British rule. Africans were bought to many places voluntary in the West Indies and Europe post slavery to help build those countries. Indians excelled economically as they have a strong work ethic, are law abiding, have a strong family structure in place. Wherever they go they excel at education and have economic prosperity. They have such low crime rates, integrate well whilst having a strong set of their own values and are seen as model immigrants throughout the western world. Two of the four great offices of state in the UK were occupied by British Indians. Priti Patel and Rishi Sunak. Both their families lived in East Africa before coming to the UK. Whilst many Africans have contributed to western society and have excelled in many areas, as a collective they are at the bottom of the social economic ladder and have high rates of crime (over representation of the prison system) and are over represented in government welfare dependancy. Their families are broken and children do not have a mother and father in the home. Should Africans leave as not only is Europe for Europeans, the Africans as a collective are a net loss for Britain as they commit higher rates of crime and are heavily dependant on the government giving them free money? As a Londoner I have come across many Africans from all walks of life and from different places (Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Somalia, Algeria, Zimbabwe etc) and I have learnt a lot from them about their culture and values. This has been a great honour for me to learn and grow and I can gladly call these individuals my friends. So don’t feel like I have some form of animosity towards Africans. I’m just spelling out the realities.

@@TheRightHonRai also your people indians are racist they look down on africans so why stay with us if you hate us, and dont try the not all indians, you yourself knew how much indians are racist in india with the caste systems and how they mistreat dark skin indians so an african to them is ultimate nightmare, we dont need that colorism and racism in continent, cuz of people like indians whites arabs and chinese now also join the gang in africa they always bully africans, we dont want that in africa period.

I see on social media how Indians put the Kenyan flag on their pages and hold it as their identity but I could never. The treatment that was received there spiraled out of control after 1970. Some struck it out until the late 90s and 2000's but my family left in 75. Both my parents were born there but I can't hold it as my identity, never. It was undoubtedly worse in Uganda but Kenya is not and will not be a piece of my identity.
