open 2 folders, one downloads, one resourcepacks and transfer the files to add the resources for the trains, immersive railroading takes resourcepacks and turns them into useable vehicles so you don't need to install mods or anything drastic!

The reborn of CD Pack for Immersive Railroading or just CD Immersive Railroading resource pack / CD Pack for IR, And if you don't like them Green and White (CD classic), Najbrt 1 (CD najbrt) instead! Sadly no, it is PC exclusive as Immersive railroading needs resource packs from third party websites, sorry

There are many, packs can be used if the version is in the first two values, I use 1.16.1 resource packs on 1.16.5

You don't need to extract them, just put them in your folder from downloads then they'll work

All you’ll need to do is look up those names, the barclay is in the S&S classic, the austerity I don’t exactly know, and the Jennings C class is in welsh highland narrow gauge, they are all on curseforge and by searching it on google you should be able to find it, thank you for the comment!
