Come along with me for a very pleasant ride on one of the smartest London Transport RTs on the rally circuit - 75-year old 1949 AEC Regent III / Weymann RT2177 (KGU 106) in normal passenger service on route 145.
Even the cab is immaculate - later in the video I sit behind the driver as, with cab rear window taken out, you can hear the sounds of the driver's controls that you normally can’t - like the clatter of the gearchange pedal and the tik-tok of the indicator switch.
A credit to its owner and the fine London RT class of bus.
