Two of the oldest London RT gems in one video!
It's the centenary of London Transport Barking Garage, so join me for a ride aboard wartime 1940 AEC Regent III / LPTB RT113 (FXT 288) from Becontree to Barking and then ‘RT1’ (EYK 396) with the original bodywork from RT1 and the chassis of former Cravens-bodied RT1420 (JXC 183) from Redbridge Station to Northbrook Road.
Note that both RTs have antique rubber bulb horns in the cab (to the driver's right) like the earliest motor cars!
