We adopt a teen ager who is very smart .my father sent him to school.Paid for his tuition and live with us as a helper in our house. He was like a brother. After the semester was over. He went back to visit his grand mother/ mother. He did not come back to go back to school.my family looked for him . Some body told us , he was seen riding in a bus on the way to Tagkawayan, round up ,interrogated by the Marcos army and shot dead despite denying he was not an NPA. and a high-school student. He was one of those kid who was asked to dig his grave and shot there like a dog. His family has no means to search for his grave. and dare not ask my father. His name is Moses Rosanes.. He could have been an Engineer if he was so given a chance...

that only happened in Manila, us from the province were perfectly happy with the government. Those who went to Malacanang were just paid by the US govt to overthrow the govt. I myself from the province when the Marcos’s Administration was overthrown, it will take 9hrs by bus before we get to Manila...The only communication then was television, radio and landline...The people who supported the Marcos’s from the provinces were completely shocked and were left broken...It was not really the whole country that led the revolution... the people were from Manila and from the outskirts of Manila only... It’s a shame...

Thank you for sharing this video again, I watched this already a long time ago. I feel angry and sad to the manner they were treated and how the revolutionary government spread so many lies about them. Everything was blown into big proportions which of course was aimed to destroy their reputation further. Nothing was mentioned about the many projects the First Lady has done but her shoe collection was highlighted. In the end, Imelda's jewelry collections and art paintings went missing. The vindictive government destroyed their properties and sold all their assets.

Every time this part of Philippine history is narrated, it brings back very sad remembrance of how a country considered as very dear friend of the Philippines betrayed the Filipinos. After the people power revolution which Filipinos were very proud of, it was announced that America is the power behind what happened. Unbeknownst to a lot of Filipinos, similar govt overthrow was also happening to other countries under dictatorship. Maybe the Philippines would have been able to avoid being played by our ally if Marcos was still the strong man. He happen to be already very sick at that time.

The economy of the Philippines during Marcos years was at its peak. But when Ninoy was killed, it was the start of doom for the Philippines. Everyday rally, Cory, NPA, CIA, oligarchs destabilize the gov't not only rallying but spreading lies, destroying the Marcoses' name without evidence, they tarnished so much their names. Investors left and shunned investing in the Phil. Because of these stabilizations the economy went down. Bangko Sentral had no money. Jaime Laya the former chief of Bangko Central in his court statements in the US as witness recalled that Bangko Sentral had no money. US did not allow the Philippine govt to borrow money fr IMF, etc. Laya said Marcos called up Swiss Bank and days later, the fund came into Bangko Sentral. Until now, there are still funds left in the Bangko Sentral fr Swiss Bnk. Marcos did not stole money. He even helped fund BS. It was Dilawans who stole fr them. Like the Cojuangcos, PCGG. Cory sold to her relatives in cheap amount all govt properties like Meralco and many others. They did not do anything good for the common Filipinos but for oligarchs. Like passing the bill of contractualization for workers. Marcos loved workers that he initiated passing into law the 13th month bonus for workers. The labor UNION was very active then the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) of employees was very active and always on the news. Whatever the problem of employees Marcos always got the attention of Blas Ople of DOLE. That is why oligarchs hated him. And that is why many Filipinos still love him and now, his son, PBBM. For only 21 yrs they did so much for the country. So many infrastructures, food production, product exportation, peak in arts and culture and athletes. Filipino music, theatre, movies were on its peak. In music there was OPM. Singers, recording companies, composers had their hay days. There were good music, compositions, composers, singers. Hello there. When I first came to the Philippines it was in April 2008. Back then I had 38 pesos for one US dollar. Duterte made the Pesos lower, and Bongbong Marcos made it even lower. I now get 56 Phil Pesos per dollar, and will keep on dropping. I LOVE THAT CUTE LITTLE GUY WITH THE FUNNY HAIRCUT!!! LONG LIVE TO MARCO$!!!! ❤❤❤ 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Cory needed to clean up the Marcos mess, take note lubog tayo sa utang sa pag alis ng mga Marcoses. Cory wasn't the best president but of course better na sya than the dictator himself. And then we have Duterte who obviously failed during the pandemic with his kamay na bakal approach, we don't need it. We need humanitarian service to lift the economy, dami nanaman nating utang because he isn't resourceful at all. Buti pa ang VP hindi need mangutang to forgo her projects, mostly come from Filipinos din na nagdonate, nagtiwala sa kanya dahil alam na makakarating sa tamang tao na dapat tulungan.

Marcos is the real hero.. Si Cory ang dahilan kung bakit nag hirap ang Pilipinas

Kaya naman nalubog sa utang ung bansa dahil kay Marcos. 1983 pa lang before EDSA, bagsak na bagsak na ung economy. Mataas ang unemployment rate (more than 30% compared to just 10% in early 60s), mataas ang presyo ng basic commodities, kaya rin nag-start ung labor migration at nagkaroon ng OFW. Sa laki ng external debt ni Marcos, which he used to fund his infra projects among others, hanggang ngayon pinagbabayaran pa rin ung mga utang. Then more than 10 billion USD ung wealth na na-accumulate nila illicitly from the people, most of which ay nakatago pa rin at pinipigilang maibalik. Marami nang utang, nawalan pa ng pera, mahirap talaga bumangon, lalo na nung first few years after EDSA.

The poor became more poorer..so poor that the poor were forced to dig GARBAGES at Smokey Mountain just for them to have something to eat EVERYDAY..to SURVIVE hunger & starvation..digging garbages to survive HUNGER & STARVATION started in early 1970s ( Marcos' presidency and that was a FACT ). When ex prez Diosdado Macapagal ( father of GMA left the presidency in 1965, to Marcos, our country was not bankrupt ...the economy was good, commodities were cheap - i know bec my parents own a store , gas station, passenger bus transportation business , etc.and as the eldest child in the family, i was already involved helping them in our family businesses since Diosdado Macapagal's presidency.. so i know the cost of commodities, gas & petroleum products, the fare in public buses, etc.. When Marcos was OUSTED by TAUMBAYAN in 1986 , these are what Cory inherited as prez from Marcos: 1.bankrupt economy - GDP was less than 4%, the treasury of the country was empty - walang pondo ang Pilipinas ( ninakaw ni Marcos ).Lugmok na lugmok ang Pilipinas...ng iniwan ni Marcos.. 2.the country was buried in big debt - 28 billion dollars + at World Bank.. 3. poverty & crime rate were so high ( poor Filipinos were digging garbages at Smokey Mountain to SURVIVE hunger/starvation ..carnapping, robbery , etc were so high ..even vendors were doing modus operandi .. I will not also forgot when ex vice prez Lopez broadcasted on the radio in early 1970s ( Martial Law time ) that Marcos forcibly took his electric company ( MERALCO) away from him ( kinamkam ni Marcos yong Meralco sa kanya.. Lopez was so furious at Marcos broadcasting it..Mayroon pang ibang kinamkam si Marcos sa mga negosyante ..kaya lang , hindi sila umalma kasi takot silang ipakulong ni Marcos ( Marcos was in control of Military ). When Cory took over as prez, she returned those things Marcos took to the rightful owners... Am sure the TAUMBAYAN will not OUSTED Marcos if he was really a good president... Yeah, the catholic church had a big part in causing this massive retaliation to Marcos and his government. I think, there's so much hate to him because he lasted long enough as president. He may have done wrong in declaring Martial law, but we must not forget that he did something right, but the sad part is once you did wrong, it is the only thing that will be remembered.

They are actually the instrument for social unrest and the favor for any politicians that agree with their policies. Since around 70-80 % of Filipinos are catholic, so this religion can be used as well to push for a political figure.

In November 2018, the Sandiganbayan found Imelda Marcos guilty of 7 counts of graft for illegally creating private organizations in Switzerland. She was sentenced to imprisonment of six years and one month to 11 years for EACH count of graft, which is equivalent to a minimum of 42 years in prison. While DeLima rots in prison without any conviction, Imelda appealed the ruling and remained free on bail. That’s (in)justice for you in the Philippines.

Of Course Ninoy was incarcerated or imprisoned during Marcos Regime because Ninoy was a Co Founder of The Communist Party of The Philippines, with Jose Maria Sison on 1968, now he is a resident in Exile in Netherland ! They were both Traitors of The Democratic Way of Life in The Philippines !The History of The Philippines and it's People will judge them accordingly !

even now a days many are living in slum area,even local actress have thousand of pair of shoes why cant a First Lady ,some are gifts from friends abroad mostly from the wives of the counterpart of her husband because they know she likes shoes

Imagine living like a celebrity, collecting designer clothes, and owning expensive shoes while your country is in poverty. Their son's current administration is experiencing the same problem with typical corrupt politicians that are motivated only by power.

That time I was a teen, very clean streets, double decker buses in every routes, peaceful execept Tondo, I wish EDSA did not happened, I was ROTC that time, Im lucky and proud to be a member of sunday soldier founded by Marcos, if you remember when cory during burial, Cris Aquino said to Panot, we are now encharged of the Philippines, Aquino s are evil people.

Peaceful sa lugar namin noon, mura lahat ng bilihin. Lagi kaming may supply ng mga libreng gamot at mga pagkain tulad ng corn meal, gatas. Nakakamiss yung panahon na iyon. May program pa ang gobyerno ng pag aaral ng vocational sa mga barangay tulad ng dressmaking at cosmetology.

Mark john kung the best pres si Marcos, bakit he was published for PLUNDER as the greatest thief of all time in Guinness Book of World Record which is circulated worldwide.? And if Marcos is the best prez, why did the TAUMBAYAN of our country OUSTED him as prez? And if Marcos was the best prez, why did he BURIED our country in big DEBT (28 billion dollars + which after 33 yrs, our country is still paying? The experts were wondering why our country was buried in big debt when our country was very rich in Natural Resources and those Natural Resources were all making money during his presidency.Don't brag about the many infrastructures Marcos built...dahil DAPAT lang , after all, Marcos was paid as president for 21 yrs ( his presidential term is equivalent to presidential terms of almost 4 presidents ). If Marcos was the best prez, why is it that his GDP was only less than 4 % ? How can Marcos be the best prez, when he declared Martial Law where he became a DICTATOR , put our country under ONE-MAN LAW ( his own law ) where he was in control of EVERYTHING(media, military, treasury of the country , etc) that's why he was able to steal the treasury of the country through Banco Sentral ng Pilipinas - because the Constitution was SUSPENDED so there was no law , no check & balance kaya nakapagnakaw ng kaban ng bayan ng todo todo, and bec he was in control of media, & military , thousands of Filipinos were tortured, imprisoned & killed including journalists, just because they were exercising their rights of expression..& because the Constitution was SUSPENDED, there was no election no wonder he stayed in power for 21 yrs...and when snap election happened in 1986 between him & Cory, he cheated in the results of that election openly, that's why people involved in the election process had walked out..If Marcos was the best president, why is it that the poverty & the crime rate were so high during his presidency? The poor became more poorer..so poor that the poor were forced to dig GARBAGES at Smokey Mountain just for them to have something to eat EVERYDAY..to SURVIVE hunger & starvation..digging garbages to survive HUNGER & STARVATION started in early 1970s ( Marcos' presidency and that was a FACT ). When ex prez Diosdado Macapagal ( father of GMA left the presidency in 1965, to Marcos, our country was not bankrupt ...the economy was good, commodities were cheap - i know bec my parents own a store , gas station, passenger bus transportation business , etc.and as the eldest child in the family, i was already involved helping them in our family businesses since Diosdado Macapagal's presidency.. so i know the cost of commodities, gas & petroleum products, the fare in public buses, etc.. When Marcos was OUSTED by TAUMBAYAN in 1986 , these are what Cory inherited as prez from Marcos: 1.bankrupt economy - GDP was less than 4%, the treasury of the country was empty - walang pondo ang Pilipinas ( ninakaw ni Marcos ).Lugmok na lugmok ang Pilipinas...ng iniwan ni Marcos.. 2.the country was buried in big debt - 28 billion dollars + at World Bank.. 3. poverty & crime rate were so high ( poor Filipinos were digging garbages at Smokey Mountain to SURVIVE hunger/starvation ..carnapping, robbery , etc were so high ..even vendors were doing modus operandi .. When Marcos & his family left our country in 1986, the Marcoses were billionaires ( in dollars ) while the country was impoverished... The only one who benefits in a country under dictatorship is the dictator himself & his family..while the citizens are impoverished ..it happened in other countries like Zimbabwe whose dictator was also OUSTED after 38 years ..Fidel Castro was also a dictator and his country got impoverished, too..same thing happened to our country - the Taumbayan OUSTED Marcos.. Marcos declared Martial Law to stay in power using NPAs as destabilizers/ rebels to justify declaration of ML.. Marcos & Imelda were making black propaganda since 1970s which i saw when i was in highSchool..the propaganda movies show the beauty of the city of Manila, Makati with its tallest buildings, etc but behind those beautiful tall buildings ( propaganda ) was the ugliness of Smokey Mountain where the poor were digging GARBAGES to survive hunger & starvation - this activity at Smokey Mountain was hidden by Marcos from the International Communities , however, two american journalists/ tv news reporters revealed Smokey Mountain here in American Television last 1986 the day Marcos was ousted.These tv news reporters took a video of Smokey Mountain themselves while they were in the Phil covering Edsa Revolution...i remember watching that video here in American Television that day while i was working as a nurse in Chicago with my fellow co- worker(also a nurse )..we saw the Edsa Revolution ( live )..even when Marcos was interviewed by Ted Kopell about Imelda's thousands of shoes lol.. I will not also forgot when ex vice prez Lopez broadcasted on the radio in early 1970s ( Martial Law time ) that Marcos forcibly took his electric company ( MERALCO) away from him ( kinamkam ni Marcos yong Meralco sa kanya.. Lopez was so furious at Marcos broadcasting it..Mayroon pang ibang kinamkam si Marcos sa mga negosyante ..kaya lang , hindi sila umalma kasi takot silang ipakulong ni Marcos ( Marcos was in control of Military ). When Cory took over as prez, she returned those things Marcos took to the rightful owners... Am sure the TAUMBAYAN will not OUSTED Marcos if he was really a good president... The TAUMBAYAN said : never again to the Marcoses..ever wonder why BBM did not win the election for vice prez? for what ? Bec, like what the taumbayan said - NEVER again to the Marcoses..

Jose Campos, dubbed as the "Pharmaceutical King," headed United Laboratories, Inc., while Antonio Floirendo, Sr. has power over the banana business. Both were a front for Marcos' purchase of foreign properties.

The only decent man who became president of the country. Noynoy's first executive order was: “end corruption and the evil it breeds.” He had detained three sitting senators, all for plunder. First time in history of the country to accuse sitting senators of corruption. He also had former chief justice Renato Corona Impeached. By 2016, the Philippines was ranked 101st in the Corruptions Perception Index, a decline from 146th in 2010 when he was elected into office. The Philippines has fallen 18 rungs in total on Duterte's watch. Aquino had approved at least 50 infrastructure projects and services “to be completed during the next administration” before he stepped down. In fact, many of the infrastructure projects under the Rodrigo Duterte administration’s Build, Build, Build actually started during the term of Aquino. Some of these were the Skyway Stage 3, LRT-2 East Extension Project, NLEX-SLEX Connector Road, C5 South Link Expressway, Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, Mactan Cebu International Airport, LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project, and Cavite-Laguna Expressway. The GDP of the Philippines grew at an average of above 6% annual growth rate under Aquino, with the country pivoting from being the "sick man of Asia" The country achieved investment grade status in 2013. Throughout Aquino’s term, the country received at least 22 positive rating actions from major international credit rating agencies. He authorized the filing of a complaint that questioned the validity of China's claims in the South China Sea before an international tribunal. The Philippines won, but China dismissed the tribunal's 2016 ruling. Noynoy's father Ninoy was imprisoned in 1972 for 8 years, on trumped up charges and in 1980 was exiled in the US, he was allowed to return only to be assassinated right at the airport tarmac in 1983. Marcos and his cronies were so afraid of him that they did not allow him to step out of the airport and murdered him right on the tarmac. This is the cruelty of the Marcos regime. What more can we ask a family, that had served decently and sacrificed their life for their country. The reality is that we must bring back the Napoles senators to detention and return Gloria Arroyo to jail. Put back the fear of Plunder into the heart of these godless politicians. Only fear of punishment will deter these crooks. We need someone to bring back honor and justice to the politics of this country.
