Haha, good one! I get what you're saying. IMAX is all about that crystal-clear image and sound, while 4DX adds in those physical effects. Spilling a drink for a DIY 4DX vibe? Classic!

@@hifiaudios8101 i’m questioning the pros of IMAX for movies that are mostly CGI anyways.
Very good commentary on 4dx. The only thing I would disagree with is munching on popcorn while watching 4dx. I would strongly advise against that. It’s almost like eating popcorn on a roller coaster - not the best idea. Maybe stick with a small candy and half full cup of soda!

Thanks for the feedback! You're totally right about the popcorn in 4DX, it can be a bit of a wild ride. Small candy and a half-full soda sounds like a much better plan!
F 4DX, my popcorn went on the floor, my drink was on my lap, and someone was spitting in my face every time water was present in the movie.

Yeah, it definitely makes for a more “interactive” experience, what with all the moving seats, water, and wind. Might not be for everyone, especially if you're just trying to enjoy your popcorn and chill. Maybe IMAX would be better for you next time-big screen, epic sound, but none of the extra splash and shakes.
ATTENTION you cannot eat or drink with 4DX but man was it fun!!!

Does screenx have the same sound quality like imax?

ScreenX and IMAX have different focuses. ScreenX is all about the immersive 270-degree screen, while IMAX is known for its huge screen and amazing sound quality. So, IMAX might have the edge in sound, but ScreenX offers a unique visual experience.

IMAX is great for big visuals, but ScreenX could be cool for the immersive vibe. Depends on what you like more.

oh man, Deadpool & Wolverine in 4DX would be insane with all the action! But IMAX has that killer screen size and sound. Depends what you're into more, crazy effects or awesome visuals

Oh, Dune Part 1 was epic, especially if you caught it in IMAX or 4DX! The visuals? Mind-blowing. And the sound? Totally immerses you in that desert planet vibe. If you get the chance, seeing it in one of those formats seriously takes it to another level. Totally worth it for the full experience!

Oh, the 3 screens setup you’re talking about sounds like the IMAX experience, but it can vary based on the theater. Some IMAX theaters have really immersive setups that kinda surround you with the screen. Check out your local IMAX theaters; they might have something similar! Have u been to one though, all I’ve heard from people is that it’s a gimmick and the side screens are lower resolution, they all say imax is easily the best

Haha, I feel you! IMAX is definitely a game-changer, but there's something magical about the classic Cinerama 70mm. Who knows, maybe one day it'll make a comeback!

If you wanna feel like you're right in the middle of the action with Kong and Godzilla, go for 4DX. But if you're all about those jaw-dropping visuals, IMAX is the way to go. Both are awesome, just depends on what you're into!

Right? Imagine that combo, IMAX visuals with 4DX moves, would be epic! 🤯 Maybe one day they'll mix it up for the ultimate movie experience. Till then, we gotta choose. Tough life, huh?

Yeah, 4DX isn't for everyone, can be a bit much sometimes. IMAX has a great picture quality though!
4dx is awful... I saw Dune 2 yesterday...worst experience ever.

4DX isn't for everyone, especially with all that moving around and water spraying. Watching Dune 2 like that sounds intense! Maybe next time, a regular screening or IMAX might be more up your alley. Less shake, more chill.

Saw dune 2 yesterday and I loved the 4dx strobes, smells and some of the vibrations but missed out on the large screen and the audio was sub par. Really wish imax could add some extra sensory items

4dx is just wow 😲! it's like ur actually there in the movie, with all the moving seats and stuff. totally a game changer for action movies. but yeah, imax has its perks too, especially with that huge screen and crisp image. hard to choose, right?
