Where did the imam go? I’ve been trying to find him online for many months. Has he left ELM? I looked forward to his Reminders, khutbahs and lectures on the 99 manes of Allah subhaana wa ta’ala. I miss him, too.

@@jihadulnafs Please read Al-Farabi. Your favourite modern sheikh will not know him. Maybe even learn about Ibn-Sina. Music is not Haraam. Haraam Music is Haraam; just like halal music is halal. Think of it like food.

i have personally met the imam and when i brought up the topic of the obe he would try his best to change the subject as he thinks the obe is a meaningless title

People need to stop idolising this guy. Never forget this is the guy who sang the national anthem in Allah’s house. After his wrongdoing was pointed out he defended his actions and publicly challenged anyone to prove his wrongdoing.. 💀 so glad ELM got rid of this sellout! And I didn’t see any apology from him.

Defend himself from what exactly? You didn’t even press him on his actions lol. And if you sin/do wrong publicly, and then decide to publicly challenge anyone to prove your wrongdoing, ESPECIALLY as an imam then for gods sake of course you CAN BE JUDGED! He isn’t fit to be an imam. Many people have this opinion. I couldn’t care less what he has to say anymore. Just glad ELM sacked him. And incase you agree with his actions, glory ONLY belongs to Allah. Stop leaning on the fence and call it as it is!

@@mrss9127 Sister, this is misinformation - the Imam was not sacked, but chose to leave. Worth reading the detailed statements he issued himself on both his departure and the aforementioned issue before jumping to such strong conclusions - Islam commands us to review all sources before spreading news, lessons we can learn from the slander of our noble mother Aisha RA, which the Qur'an directly addresses. Hence one should be careful about even the slightest risk of spreading falsehoods of others, especially Muslims, if they truly care about their akhira. But if you don't care or have no shame, then as the Prophet SAW advised, do as you please. May Allah protect us all - particularly in a time where people are focused on attacking each other, rather than the real enemies k1lling our innocent brothers and sisters right now. It's a wonder that people complain about the weakness of the ummah, yet do nothing worthwhile to strengthen it.
