I could never hear the other side of the call until watching this video today. I only knew what the other side was saying due to the translating subtitles. They always confused me, because how can an inaudible thing be translated?

Movie magic. You don't have to have the audio play while recording the Dr. Evil reactions. He could be reacting to silence, to director cues, or to a flat line read.

The heroes have something called plot armor, meaning that the hero or main character has to survive even the most dangerous situations in order for the plot or series to continue.

It was a pretty typical sort of line you'd hear in all the old Bond movies... and Saturday morning cartoons for that matter. It was cliche by the time this movie came out.

Hes paraphrasing a line spoken by Blofeld in the movie You Only Live Twice. Incidentally, Dr Evil's appearance is also lifted from that movie.

The expressions of embarrassment and confusion is what kills me! Looking at the vents . 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's remarkable how Myers is able to really do this character all the way to the hilt and Austin. Two such opposites so convincingly.

I found Vasquez Rocks in California which was used as the set for Dr. Evil's lair in the first film. That location was used for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as well as Star Trek.

The best part of this isnt Will Ferrell, its Dr. Evils reaction after the second shot, the way he stops to make extra sure hes dead is absolutely perfect.
