I got out of a marriage where my husband cheated and then ended up in two disaster relationships, one which I even moved countries for. 4 years ago I took myself on a solo retreat to Bali with a group of girls I had never met and it changed my life! I’m still really close friends with some of them now. X

I did a solo trip after i escaped a very abusive relationship. I went to rome for 5 days and it changed my life. Seeing i was able to do all this stuff on my own, it was to refreshing and healing! I would encourage anyone to do a solo trip and I sincerely hope you manage it x

i feel like i’m too dependent on my boyfriend to be able to go out and enjoy myself, and neither of us have a friend group so we limit ourselves sometimes as well. i dont think im in the phase of taking myself out yet but I do want to rebel against the system of waking up, going to work and doing boring things especially when i compare myself to my peers who are living their best life. I’m going on my first solo business trip next month and I can’t wait!!

I didn't realised that eating by yourself is a big thing until you mentioned it, most of the time I go to restaurants and cafes by myself and I actually enjoy it way more than going with someone hhh. maybe because I don't like to talk while I'm eating ..

In February I went to Poland by myself. I did 3 nights and went and seen all the things I wanted to do! It was the best thing I’ve ever done! I have two children and a partner of nearly 11 years so it was nice to have a break. I was anxious as hell but it’s made me want to do it again! You’ll be fine I promise ♥️

I feel like we get caught up in believing people are judging us but the reality is by nature we're selfish thinkers and we're not thinking about others because we're so busy thinking about how we're being perceived.

This is a beautiful thing to experience in a relationship (and while single). So many feel something is missing as they ‘settle down’…that ‘something missing’ is exploration of the self. Of nature. Of cultural company. Of your own evolution in your own company. High recommend 🙌🏽🙏🏼
