That's how we make instant coffee in India as well - hand beaten and then has water and milk added to it..... I always thought that was how it was done world over.

i wish the rest of the world knew about it earlier! i just saw this and tried making it, it is delicious... it really loses the "instant coffee" flavour from al the sugar and stirring
