I recently got the ILS Command. Basically I'm almost satisfied. If I have the Sound to Light mode active, the moving heads change extremely quickly. Way too nervous. This was also the case with the Gigbar (controlled without ILS Command) before the update. Great after the update. Now to my question: is there an update for the ILS Command so that the gobos change is slower? If so, how can I update the ILS Command? I currently have version v.14 on the ILS Command and on the Gigbar V2.06 Thank you for your feedback signal.

No - that's what DMX is used for.

what if i want to control various lights from other companies using the DMX out?

I GOT THE CHAUVET LIGHT 5 N 1 FRON GUITAR CENTER AND THE BOX WAS OPEN AND MISSING THE FOOT PADDLE AND LIGHT CONTROL I ALSO BUY ILS CONTROLLER COMMAND AND I CAN'T CONNECT IT IS NOT WORKING IN THIS VIDEO AND THE REST OF OTHER VIDEO IN MY GIGBAR I DONT HAVE THE WIRELESS I HOOK UP THE CABLE AND STILL NOT WORKING ANY ADVICE PLEASE /?

no you don't need any extra hardware because the GBM+ILS has it built-in already.

in another recent video, the person demonstrating theILS Command puts it on channel 2 in your demonstration. You put it on channel 16. What is the recommended setting?

There are 16 wireless frequencies to choose from. Pick the one with the least amount of interference. There is no wrong answer here.

Does this controller have sound active mode? The main gripe i have about the gigbar ILS you cannot slow down the moving heads in sound active mode it is way too rapid and overwhelming. Even with the sensitivity on low there is no change…Will there be more firmware updates? Cause sound active is useless if i cannot slow down the speed of the moving heads 😕

It will work with any Chauvet fixture with "ILS" in the product name.

I always wonder when people demo things, why don't actually use the product.... Would of been nice to see it work while you were talking about different functions.

Didn't really show much & bad camera angles. Should have showed the board with a camera aiming straight down to see the settings, etc being changed. Looks cool but I'd like to see a controler that's more universal across different brands with these capabilities. A board like this that you could connect to a computer like show express or My DMX, build your shows, then download it to the board. This should be easy to do by now. You're missing a whole market of people that have multiple brands of lights... which I'm sure is at least half of the market

What you're asking for is DMX which is a universal lighting protocol that works across different brands. This is a proprietary protocol invented by Chauvet and compatible with select ILS-enabled fixtures only.

After reading this it appeared that you needed help connecting your COLORband PiX ILS to the ILS Command, so if you read the user manual of the COLORband PiX ILS, you'll see those instructions on page 17.

Macro should let you add more colors.. it only lets you use 4. Cmon man.

The Gigbar Move + ILS will not update and it has a startup bug that causes the menu screen to blackout when plugged in and it constantly asks for a USB drive to update the firmware. When i insert the 16GB USB drive properly formatted in FAT32 with only the update file on it directly from the Chauvet website following the instructions . When i hold menu and insert the USB drive a bunch of text shows up and it just freezes for hours until you unplug it. When you unplug it, it goes back to the FKN black screen and no lights. Please HELP I BOUGHT 4 OF THESE AND THEY'RE ALL DOING THE SAME THING! They will randomly work whenever they feel like it if i keep plugging in and unplugging the units sometimes ill get lucky and the Chauvet screen will pop up saying V 1.15 resetting. I did a wedding with two of these and they refused to power on no matter what i did! the wedding was a FKN disaster! DON'T BUY THESE GIGBAR MOVE + ILS UNITS THEY ARE TRASH! I will change this comment if Chauvet helps if not im posting this on every ILS video!

Why not just use Sound Switch?

Sound Switch requires all the headaches of DMX (addressing, personalities, etc) not to mention a timecode/beat grid from DJ software, whereas the ILS Command does not. Two very different types of lighting controllers. If you understand or prefer to use DMX, the ILS Command is probably not for you.
