The moving heads are the Intimidator Spot 160. The laser is the Scorpion Dual RGB. It’s basically full power Chauvet products in a bar now, instead of under-powered products in a bar.

Thanks for the review! It really helps when I try to make a decision on which way to go to upgrade some of my gear and just staying in the loop with the new Tech. I have the Gigbar 2 which does it's job for what I need it to do. Believe it or not, my case after over 3 years it's still in one piece (aside from the minor 1 or 2 tears on the edges!). I really think I would like to get the ILS to get a bit more coverage in slightly larger rooms. Thanks again brotha!

Thanks, was trying to decide between the move or the move ils since I left my gig bar at an event and have been using uplighting and wash fx for events since then.

3 gig bars, 3 cases with no zips, white foam popping out, material fray etc.. however gig bar, solid as for years and years and year. definitely going to upgrade

CT love the real world, real time footage of this product review…gives us perspective and demonstrate actual usage of the the product. As far as the gigbar or even the versa flex: love the simplicity and ease of use just not the look of the bar lights…but who knows, I just might try one of these. I have gear acquisition syndrome ! I got one last week for portability on small gigs, I really dislike the laser the rest is ok. If you get one, try to get it locally instead of shipping, first one I order took a beating and some components didn’t work. As a stand-alone it’s just meeeeh but I use a DMX controller and it makes a world of difference. I hope they make other lights on the future to swap the derbies and the laser. It will do for now for what I intended to use it, I have way bigger set ups for big events.

You don’t need ils if you’re using soundswitch. They have the profile. But the light itself is brighter and better than the original move.

The bags, Yep they are bad. The light is a good all in one light. Just used it this past weekend and it filled the room.

Great review. I have not had as good a luck as you. I have 2 GBM ILS and have the same wireless dongles and also configured with SoundSwitch. It starts out OK, with static colors, but the 2 units get lost after about a minute and I cannot seem to control the GBM ILS after that. I am using Virtual DJ, and you had mentioned that it may need to be configured with Ableton Link? Tell me about that, because I do not have mine that way and it may be the source of my problem. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Saw your video of the Mixstream Pro Stand alone. You used sound switch with the gig bar move. 1. Can I assume the Mixstream would work the Gig Bar Ils as well 2. If it does work, would I also have control of the additional Ils devices that connect to the Ils Having all that control in one place would be awesome

Nice Review, a few questions my friend. What brand façade do you have? I need a solid one with hard material not the clothe type. I want something that installs in seconds by simply unfolding. I hate the Velcro ones that need assembly. Next question, how do you mix with no monitor speaker? I guess I'm old-school to the bone and used to having a monitor next to me lol. Thanks again.

Great video! I am using both of my Mac's USB ports (one for my DJ controller and one for my USB music thumb drive). I there still a way to hook up a transmitter by fire wire, USB hub, or Bluetooth? Totems or gig bar? Which one would you go for? For weddings and everything else type of events… I need an input on this 🙏 please 🙏… as I’m about to buy totems with scrims and washes, head lights all separate… but it might be too much money all separate and also too much to carry around as I’m one man show for my events… please help with the input on this matter. 🙏 thanks!

I bought one and liked it until the laser broke. I took it back to guitarcenter and got a replacement. The moving heads didn't work on that one. The laser did the same thing on the third one so I gave up on it and got my money back. I hope you have better luck with yours!

The laser is really powerful capable of well defined geometric shapes

Laser and Derby are useless to me. Jmaz Versa Flex Bar meets my needs and works for me. The pars I use are amazing and really wash the floor. I used to own two Gig Bar 2.0 years ago. The Move version was a nice update tho.

Did you take off the derby’s on the Chauvet? If they are removable that makes me more interested in it.

I have 2 Jmaz and I’m about ready to sell them due to the lack of Soundswitch support. It’s extremely frustrating, especially since DMX is part of their sales pitch to me when I purchased at MEX 2022. And they are actually too bright. I may sell them and buy these

i’ve never had my GBM lights come off. hmmm.. i think the Derbies having White is a big improvement. i’d there a new SS default project file for the ILS version? it’s a diffent profile.

oh. 50 channel. yes. the GBM is only 35. so that’s the right one.

chauvet told short time ago that they not gone to produce white ones.... but who knowes in the future, they change that?

Do you know if this unit will work with the ADJ DMXGO Controller? I use it with the Chauvet wireless D-FI XLRs (same that came w/ur unit)?

Technically you wouldn’t need to because if ils but yes you should be able to make one a master and the other a slave. I can’t guarantee that tho.

I bought a gig bar move dam moving head went out on one side immediately 3 months in $800 plus shipping to guam pissed down the toilet they cant ship parts here👎💩

@@djhemirukahemisphere8893 Must not gig alot I play almost every weekend and If you hear him he knows I took care mine as much as I could and bag fell apart I brought it up to them at Namm show!!! Lights are good man but that bag box sucks it breaks at the zipper I have two of the gigbars and both bags came apart at the zipper! Now using bungy cords to hold shut!!!

Y genial que se atreva a hacerlo, pero su puesta en escena? no... no 😂... el como dice lo que dice, a ratos parece que está descubriendo la maquina en ese momento en vez de enseñarnos algo 🤔. No olvidar esos "suaves" golpes 😂🤣😂... todo eso es mejorable. Se agradece mostrar a fin de cuentas esa luz, tal como dices, está todo en ingles.

We don't have any gigbars, but I'm definitely considering some for smaller events. This was actually a pretty impressive showing. Someone else asked it below, but how are the static white looks from the remote for spotlight dances?

They need to get rid of the laser and derbys and put that money into the bag. No Bride wants a laser in her face.
