@@mattrixx_audio If you look on there website it says LF extension switch: Sets -3 dB point of the frequency response at 40, 50, 60 or 80 Hz (LFE)

Used these for years..absolutely love them!!

Had mine for two years! These are powerhouses for the size.

They are absolutely lovely. I'm using the older version and the deep end is immense (for me at least, coming from the "iLoud Micro Monitors"). I'm happy without a Woofer (got one but not even hooked up anymore)

I got the originals based on mixing and mastering engineers recommendations. For me these are better than the HS7s but how much of an improvement are the MKII's over the MKI's?

Same price as the Kali audio IN8 v2

Do I need an interface for these active Monitors, or can I connect them directly to my PC? Thanks a lot. Good Review 🎼🎸💯🤗

No they need to connected especially…via XLR so interface is needed

I’ve seen various videos on these and all of them say the mic is included but the IK site and other retailers say it isn’t. The original MTMs and the Precisions all included the mic, so which one is it for the new models?

Hi, thanks for your question. So the confusion comes from the fact that if you buy a single monitor, the mic doesn't come with it, but if you buy a pair, it does. You can see this confirmed here: www.ikmultimedia.com/products/iloudmtm/index.php?p=versions#top

The difference will be minimal don’t worry, and also these speakers don’t necessarily sound better when calibrated so the new tech and software may be useless, the mk1 is already a great sounding speaker so I don’t think the mk2 is worth it especially as the mk1 will be much cheaper now.

@@markfowlermusic they actually sound much better calibrated. The first version at least, so no reason to believe mk2 isn’t the same.

Hopefully they altered the power switches on these. I stopped using mine because i couldn't turn them on or off without slightly moving the speakers and messing up the calibration.

I use a power strip with switches, no need to touch them again :)

Plug them into a switchable multiple outlet within reach. No issue.

These little noise boxes cost more than my car, no thanks.
