The longer tip on the pencil is really just to get more use with less time sharpening, because it looks like a 2H pencil it also stays sharper for longer and automatically produces light sketch lines that are easier to erase or hide digitally.

Akihito Yoshitomi is one of my all time favorite artists, I reference his work all the time when drawing detailed machinery pieces.
It makes me wonder if he’s seen the series of videos showing the art process of Kaoru Mori. The amount of detail she can do it frankly amazing, and is kinda sad she’s not as well known.

Oh haha 😁 thank you, I didn’t expect that 😅 thank you so much though
A benefit to having lead sharpened like that would probably be for the artist to discourage themselves from pressing the pencil too hard to not break but also to not leave marks too dark to erase. I personally had to switch to a darker/softer type of lead to break my habit of pressing too hard when drawing, but I could see how this could achieve the same outcome. This is assuming it isn't for shading though.
I believe animators of these animes are on the level beyond omega
Loving seeing them do gesture drawing

Probably already mentioned a lot, but Kentaro Miura and Takehiko Inoue are also amongst some of the best manga artists, definitelly worth a look.

The Chitoge illustration is unbelievably beautiful. (Well, the witch is also super detailed and cute)
He starts with the KAWAII blush

I have a love/hate relationship with copics. I love using them but hate how quickly the colors fade. They will even fade without being hit by UV-light. There are great books for learning tips and tricks on how to use them though. There is a How to Draw Manga book specifically about copic coloring that I used to have along with an old architect/designer book that I found in a thrift store with techniques and usage of alcohol markers that focused on coloring and colorschemes for interiors, exteriors and everything in between in that cool designer style. Eventually I gave away both books and my big copic set to my sister. I still havent been able to decide if I regret that or not lol

Holy shit, I was watching the other parts yesterday 😳👉👈
Ngl, Akihito Yoshitomi is one of my greatest inspiration in drawing. I've always go to his channel everyday for get inspired or ideas.
When you draw dozens-hundreds of images in a manga/s every week under high pressure to get it out on time for years and years, you are going to become a godly artist. Nobody should compare themselves to mangakas. They have insane workloads and HAVE to be amazingly good and fast to be successful. Don't you ever kick yourself for not being able to draw like these guys any more than you kick yourself for not being able to deadlift 500 pounds or split an arrow or compete at an Olympic level. Mangakas are at that level in their field, you have to be DEDICATED to be at that level and few people have the time to get there.

Kentaro Miura or Hiroya Oku would be a good reaction, shame there isn't much footage of them. If not them, what about Hiromu Arakawa?
You should react to a Takehiko Inoue artwork. He's the artist to Vagabond and Slam Dunk and it's easily the best art out of any manga artist, and his known for his amazing artwork.
Yoh sense always push his poses. Is so nice
I'd love to see you looking at Shigenori Soejima (character designer for the Persona series) artwork

You should react to takehiko inoue drawing vagabond
I don't know if you can find a video but you should look up videos of Kentaro Miura. I feel that will blow your mind heck you don t have to look up anything recent, even stills are amazing.
12:25 Kirisaki Chitoge XD
i recommend you to buy some acoustic foam to reduce the echo of the room, or fill it with pillows or more stuff... the video look very good... good lights btw. if you dont have a good mic, i recommend you buy a Fifine microphone... very cheap and sound great.
something ive learned about using copics for 4 years, dont try to follwo others ppl styles, but expiriment yourelf.. i did the worst mistake ever looking at tutorials and now my copic marker coloring style is very screwed TT___TT i like my pre watching tutorials style but now i can never go back to it cuz these tutorials are implemented and cant get ri of it. so JUST FIND YOUR OWN STYLE :D
