Small observation: Neither China nor India have fostered terrorism on each others' soil. Problems etween China and India are fairly upfront and in public domain; therefore the concept of an honor among enemies prevails. Pakistan on the other hand has a history of double cross, covert wars and terrorism, not just with India but all its neghbors and USA as well. Indian policymakers are right now just like the US policymakers regarding Pakistan. If it cannot pass the due diligence of the US, India is hardly likely to bring down its guards

idk if its because indians live in a bubble or if it's them just trying to be deceitful to themselves because your state has done covert operations in our country and facilitated and harbored terrorists on numerous occasions, just because it's done in pakistan you don't consider it that way, thats why they say 1 man terrorist is another's freedom fighter and secondly if you haven't that's only because your state was too incompetent to do so, theres no such thing as "honour" among states, states only have objectives, and you speak of honour what honour do you have, your state openly discriminated based on religion, and uses something as sensitive as religion for political milage so stop it with this nonsense, and where was the honour when your state was killing sikhs in canada, they are children of your soil, where did your honour go?

I don’t know whether India has promoted such activities in China or not but China has definitely stoked the anti national sentiment in India in its bordering regions. They fully support the Naxalites & maoists on our soil against the Indian government to create an environment of chaos and stoke more internal conflicts in India. That honour among neighbours is no more. China is in full colonial expansionary mode trying to grab as much land as possible in Asia.

Whatever Uzair has said about trade between India and Pakistan is all good but that simply cannot happen till Pakistan stops supporting terrorism. People forget that although we've confrontations with the Chinese on the border, neither the Chinese nor the Indians support or use terrorism in each other country. We have tried multiple times to have good relations with Pakistan in the past but they were all futile. We have realised now there is no point having relations with Pakistan. People like you two are very few in Pakistan, most are brainwashed people, brainwashed either by military or by the mullahs, till this changes we are better off without having relations with Pakistan.

Biggest beneficiary of Indo-Pak trade will be Pak fauj, being the largest Industrial conglomerate & controlling resources/policy. This profit will then be used to sponsor anti-India Jihadi factories, as in the past. Most Indians now understand this typical Pak establishment duplicity...so forget trade till Pak verifiably gives up Ghazwa e Hind, Nawaz is irrelevant in this context. Intellectual Calls Is 'Trust Deficit'. 1) Pak Might Use Their Good Economy Against India. Hence, It's In India Benefit To Leave Pak On Its Own State. But, This Is A Negative Mindset. We Need To Find Some Solution. How Long Can 2 Neighbors Live Like This? India Should Strengthen Its Own Security Enough That No One Could Breach It. 2) Do We Need To Let Pak People Come India? Because This Is A Major Concern For 2 Reasons. 1st - Illegal Migrants, Visa Overstay. 2nd - Bad Elements From Pak Might Take Advantage To Sneak Into India. Apart From The Above Two Reasons. I Don't Think, India Should Have Any Concern In Trade With Pak. Instead Of Focusing On How Pak Will Benefit From Trade. We Should Focus On What We Can Benefit From The Trade.

Much love from India 🇮🇳❤️ Ps: Disagree on your points on how India can also benifit from trading with Pakistan. To be brief, the benifit of the indo-pak trade will be phenomenally skewed in Pakistan's favour vis-a-vis India so Pakistan needs to make the environment favourable for such trade. *Edit addition* Also, BJP got 38% votes in 2019 and the NDA (BJP's coalition got 45% of the total casted votes).. which is a correction to what was said on the podcast @1:30:59. In fact all Pakistani experts spoke of things like "geopolitics" or "geostrategy". It has the potential to turn everything l. In the US, agriculture farms are huge so it becomes an additional challenge but in small farms like we have it’s relatively easier but we lack the tech. Then we need to diversify our crops from wheat and rice to other stuff that we are importing. I can write a whole essay on this. I am just so happy to see this.

But since modi came into power ..there is a surge of energy in youth and PPL... Ab Jo even anti Modi hai ..woh bhi innovation, infrastructure, job etc ki baat karte hain ... My point is ..anti Modi PPL don't realise ki modi ki politics ne focus change kardiya hai for modi supporters and anti Modi PPL ... If u feel acts of migrant afghans are anti pakistani, we Indians too feel disgraceful when Indian Muslims who r born & brought up from this soil openly shows their faith towards Pakistan. Jai Hind🙏

Please pass this onto Uzair: Regarding the Chinese debt diplomacy comment. Uzair seems to suggest that this is not debt diplomacy because Pakistan gave consent to Chinese loans. By this standard, a loan shark (let's call him Shylock) is also not at fault because the poor debtor (Antonio) agreed to the harsh agreement because of his desperate financial situation. The Chinese are preying on poor desperate nations. Call it what it is.

When Junaid says that the 30 lakh car which now sells for 1 crore is still selling. Yes it is but sales are down 70% from what they were just 2 years back. Far fewer people can now afford to buy cars. Until oct 2023, 69,481 cars have sold in Pakistan year todate. In India, in octobet alone 310,000 cars have sold. Annual expectation is around 4.1 million which is about 59 times the sales in Pakistan. If Pak economy is truly 1.8 times $350 billion as claimed by Uzair then its true size is $630 billion. In other words Indian economy is just 6 times that of Pak economy. Yet number of cars sold is 59 times that of Pakistan. Number of cinema halls (a proxy for cinema tickets sold) is around 50 times of India. Hotel jndustry revenues in 2023 in Pakistan is expected to be $1.21 billion while in India it is expected to be $24 billion. If indeed the Pak economy is only 1/6 of India, where is the buying power reflected? Ok, if Pakistanis are not buying, are they investing? Market capitalization of pak economy is $45 billion. That of India is $3900 billion ie 86 times. If someone says Pakistais do not invest in stocks they invest in plots, let me tell you that construxtion in India far outstrips that of Pakistan. In consumption as well as investment if indian figures are 20-90 times of pakistan, how can you believe that indian economy is just 6 times that of pak economy?

India's very first post-independence general election was in 1951-52. Nehru's Congress won a landslide victory with 364 out of 489 Parliamentary seats. Guess what his party's popular vote share was: 45%. This pooh-poohing of BJP's 38% vote share means it is not popular or that it doesn't mean it's support is not nationwide-- all this is either a naive take on how India's general elections work, or it is sour grapes. As far as Modi/BJP is concerned, Uzair had a Hindustan Times foreign affairs journalist on his show about 2 years ago and that guy's analysis was basically: Modi tried to extend a hand of friendship, he got Balakot in return; after that, he realized that there is nobody in Paxtan he can talk to about peace and it will be a wasted effort, so he has moved on. There is little to no chance that if he wins a third term that he will try to cross that bridge again in the name of some "legacy"-- besides, he already has a strong legacy, not in small part due to the propensity of Indians to put people on high pedestal and almost worship them. He doesn't need a "peace" legacy with Paxtan. He already has J&K and Ladakh on the mend; hopefully he and his foreign affairs advisors have realized that keeping Paxtan off-balance and financially insecure has allowed India to fix its part of J&K even while the POK parts fester with ethnic strife and lack of basics. Modi has a long domestic agenda he still has to address, with most of the issues surrounding Hinduism and Hindus' maltreatment under the laws and constitutional framework. If he can get a Rajya Sabha majority too, then he and his party will no longer have any excuses to fix the structure of India's laws, judiciary, etc. Paxtan is irrelevant now...until it not only gets its act together, but shows it is sincere, and even then it won't matter as much. Remember that Modi and most of his advisors were born post-1947 and therefore do not have the same level of cultural pangs and affinity with Paxtan as did people like I.K. Gujral, Vajpayee, Advani, etc.

Very very brilliant views and dreams for a properess Pakistan.and we in India already crossed more than half of the path.and I really wish of a universe where a motto to live and let others live instead of might is right

But what normalisation does both countries need?? I don't see any abnormalities here. You want conversation now because you need it, you need it to get better at your economy. But I feel if that happens, again we'll be stabbed just like parliament, 26/11, Kargil, Pulwama and many more. I don't think we(Indians) want it. I don't want Ukraine-Russia situation, I can't see Hamas-Israel situation. It's better this way. People who want to be affectionate, be in Dubai, London or US but not in border.

The history has witnessed it again and again. Any peace attempted, followed by a major attack on India. We have been victims of terrorism, and you never really took any proper actions against it rather denied. I feel, it's better this way than to have bood shed.
