You ever heard of the beastie boys ? Go watch an interview tell me how black they're trying to act . There are a lot more too also when you grow up in "the hood" you are a product of your environment so when you see everyone dressing a certain way and talking with a certain slang you're going to pick that up from a young age thats why a rapper like Mac Miller who was a white boy from a nicer area of Pittsburgh doesn't come off as trying to be gangster because he wasn't raised around that he was around skater kids and that sort of thing so yes there are many white artist not acting black I don't really think macklemore thinks he's black actually most of the mainstream white hip hop artists out right now don't act black and who cares anyways so the guy grew up around black people in the hood just listen to the damn music and appreciate their talent
